With a 7.6 ratio, the Ascent stabilizer maximizes hydrodynamic performance while maintaining comfort and maneuverability.
The Ascent's moderately curved outline boosts stability with an improved lever arm, offering an intuitive, natural pivot for smooth, controlled flight. Turns are easy to enter, and the carving stability is impressive. The feeling is progressive and smooth, never harsh.

Designed for balanced performance across all aspects, this stabilizer helps with takeoff through a smooth, flat lift but maintains low drag once in flight. It has a wide ideal speed range and excellent stall tolerance, making it a very versatile, comfortable, and high-performing option.
DIHEDRAL
The Ascent stabilizer features a pronounced upward dihedral, which stabilizes the foil in yaw. This reverse dihedral in relation to the front wing offers significant freedom in rail-to-rail movements, enhancing maneuverability. Paired with a long shaft, the foil turns smoothly, without drifting, enabling real, powerful carves.
RELATIVELY LONG SHAFT
The Ascent stabilizer shaft is sufficiently long to soften the steering, correct any pressure errors, while maintaining relatively small stabilizer surfaces to reduce drag and ensure excellent stability.

Which size?
General information on the choice of stab sizes:
The preferred size will depend on your foiling discipline, your level, your weight, the conditions of your spot but also your front wing.
A larger stab will make take-off easier because the foil will generate a significant torque which will tend to give it a significant angle of attack. This also implies more front foot pressure.
A smaller stab will be more technical on takeoff but will boost speed and maneuverability. We also lose some front foot pressure, which means having to move the foil forward in the boxes to regain this stability.
Always adjust the size of the stab to the size of the front wing to obtain a balanced flight and functioning harmony between these two components.
