This wing is aimed at experienced riders who love surfing and high-speed carves.

If you already have a good technical background in foiling, especially in surfing, you don’t need to be a pro to surf with it, even if it’s the one used by our pro team on the World Tour!

For what ?

Surf and move at high speed on the water, do jumps and maneuvers in the waves.

It is made to take your wave riding to another level. Its ability to move at high speed combined with its maneuverability and glide give you more tools to position yourself perfectly on the wave.

How to choose Ypra shape ?

The Ypra is the one which will have the highest top speed, clearly the fastest, with a high aspect ratio which also ensures the best hold on long speed runs and the best upwind performance. Its discipline is long distance racing, or simply to be the fastest on the spot.

The Ypra-S (S for Slalom) is the most versatile of all. It’s thing is going fast and turning short. The Ypra-S therefore has a top speed that remains high, plus surfing and freestyle capabilities that are benchmarks. A do-it-all front wing for experienced riders who want to progress in all areas.

The Ypra Surf, if your goals in each session are focused on surfing, the Ypra is made for you. The Ypra Surf takes the genes of the Ypra-S, but its shape is revisited to push the surfing cursor even further with more torque, better rail to rail, and an even tighter carving radius.

The Ypra Surf-Freestyle, which takes the shape of the Ypra Surf but with a fitting shortened by 5cm, is certainly the most responsive in the range. It’s all about the pop and the moves you can link together in surfing: it’s the 100% tricks wing of the range.

Which fuselage ?

For the Ypra, Ypra-S and Ypra Surf, you can use a Pro Alu or Titanium fuselage. You can also increase the angle of your stab with a Pro Alu 1° fuselage.

For the Ypra Surf-Freestyle, its shorter fitting being specific, you will need a short titanium fuselage specially designed for it.

Which stab ?

For the stab, choose a size close to that of your front wing. The Fluid H stab is the reference stab for the Ypra Surf for magical carves. This is the one that optimizes your surfing for sure. But you can refine the feeling of your foil with different stabs: the Veloce H for maximum speed or the Freestyle stab for maximum pop and tight turns.

What size?

Small wings are suitable for very high speeds and strong wind. The bigger ones are more comfortable, take off earlier and are also designed to sail at high speeds. The criterion of choice is not only the size of the foiler. The use, conditions and level of the rider must also be taken into account.

The S has a 70 cm wingspan, 600 cm² and is 1.0 cm thick for a volume of 0.32L.

• In surf foiling, it is a very small wing that can be suitable for professionals. Program: maximum speed and long tow-in carves in solid conditions.
• In wing foiling, it is small and reserved for stormy weather and hollow waves.
• In kite foiling, it’s great for blasting full speed and carving. The wingpsan remains manageable.

The M has a 75 cm wingspan, 700 cm² and is 1.1 cm thick for a volume of 0.40L.

• In surf foiling, it is a small wing that can be suitable for professionals of average size. Program: maximum speed and big, very stable carves in tow-in.
• In wing foiling, this is a key size for light riders who will make it their go-to foil for most of their sessions.
• In kite foiling, it is wide, so for light wind conditions only.

The L has a 80 cm wingspan, 800 cm² and is 1.1 cm thick for a volume of 0.48L.

• In surf foiling, it is a small wing that can be suitable for pros of a good size. Program: maximum speed and big, very stable carves in tow-in.
• In wing foiling, this is a size for the majority of riders, the perfect size for most wave sessions.
• In kite foiling, it’s too wide, to forget.

The XL has a 85 cm wingspan, 900 cm² and is 1.2 cm thick for a volume of 0.58L.

• In surf foiling, it is an intermediate size wing which is suitable for light riders to surf long, sometimes hollow waves. Those with the strongest cardio will be able to return to the peak!
• In wing foiling, it is a wing that takes off easily for its surface, its additional lift allows surfing in softer conditions for the majority of riders.
• In kite foiling, it’s too wide, to forget.

Quiver partners ?

It will be perfect with a short and narrow board like the Lethal FSP Pro. Paired with a Neutra wing, it will be an incredible wave riding kit.

Positioning of the foil ?

If you’re a beginner in foiling, place the top plate at the rear third of the US rails for surf, SUP and kite foiling. Place it in the middle of the US rails when using it for wing foiling.

The more you move it forward, the more it makes the board pitch up. The further you move it backwards, the more the nose of the board dives.

Be careful not to move it too far forward. We often tend to forget to use the back foot, especially when we have a kite foil background. However, moving the foil back a little forces you to put more weight on the back foot and gives a more harmonious attitude and reduces effort.

Delivery delay

We indicate a preparation and shipping time of 3 working days. In reality, the majority of orders are shipped within 24/48 hours.

The delivery time, i.e. delivery time of the package to your home, then depends on the delivery location and the carrier.

We work with reliable and efficient carriers. 99% of shipments go perfectly and quickly. In the case of the remaining 1%, rest assured that we will do what is necessary with the carrier.

Shipping fees

Unlike other sites, shipping costs are not hidden behind the price of our products. You know exactly what shipping costs you, and you are not disadvantaged if you choose to collect your order at our GONG Space Center.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and volume of each package, and your delivery address.

Tracking your package

Delivery tracking is managed directly by the carriers to whom we have entrusted your packages. They will contact you by email or SMS to allow you to choose delivery methods and follow the route of your package.

Carriers

We work with the best transport societies to deliver to you throughout Europe and the world within very short deadlines. We chose them for their quality of service and their compliance with deadlines.

For mainland France, 80% of your orders arrive at their destination in less than 48 hours of processing.

For Europe, delivery times vary from 3 to 6 working days, depending on the country of destination.

For the rest of the world, delivery times depend on transit time and customs clearance time. This delay depends on customs and can last from a few days to a few weeks depending on the destination and seasonality.

Please note, transport time is added to preparation/shipping time. Two companies collaborate on your order (GONG and the carrier). Each one masters its activity and is committed to optimizing its deadlines so that you are delivered as quickly as possible and at a reasonable price.

Receipt of your product

Upon delivery, check the condition of your package in the presence of the carrier. A complete explanation email on the procedure to follow will be sent to you when your order is shipped.

Despite our requirements and all the care we take in the packaging and protection of your product, transport hazards may occur, and your product may suffer more or less significant transport damage.

Note that the products are protected in their carton. If you have any doubts, simply refuse delivery and contact us.

Warning

The practice of the Foil carries risks of major accidents. A bad mastery of the foil can cause cuts, serious wounds, even death, for you and/or others.

The foil must be practiced taking all the precautions when used in kite because they are increased in comparison to those related to the foil surf. Remember that the foil is long, sharp, and can reach high speeds. To be hit by a foil, or to strike a third party can have dramatic consequences.

Foil always far from others, in safe and unobstructed water.

The Foil is mainly used in the light wind. This one can fall and force you to go swimming. Therefore, do not overestimate your strengths: never go further than what you can swim under present and announced conditions.

Wear a helmet and protective jacket to ensure your buoyancy. Always wear a full neoprene wetsuit.

When handling the foil, be careful not to cut yourself on the trailing edges.
