Foil Front Wing Fluid-T V1 - Black
Take advantage of a discount on these reconditioned wings. As the finish was not perfect, these wings, which had minor aesthetic defects, were put aside by our quality control. But to offer you a wing with a nice look, the coat of varnish has been replaced by a veil of black paint.Note however that the internal construction and the shape remain strictly identical, only the finish changes.More about our approach: read this article.

Front wings close to the high ratio: radical and maneuverable like the Fluid but even faster.
Presentation
With its high ratio, the T version gives the Fluid that extra speed that you love.
But beyond the ratio, it is its entire glide which has been boosted by a reduced thickness across the entire profile.
If you're crazy about curves but want to take it to the next level, the Fluid-T is exactly what you need.
We designed this new model as a perfect answer to those who want the sliding qualities of the very high ratio, but without sacrificing tolerance in curves and tricks.
The result is a fabulous front wing for its versatility in a very high performance range.
Its thin profile lets loose as soon as you activate it. In surfing as in wing, you immediately feel a glide without restraint. From takeoff, you are surprised by the acceleration capacity. Obviously it is even more obvious in large sizes whether in Wing in the light where we combine lift, mania and Vmax !!! But also in tricks because you only have to see Malo handle an XXL-T with its 67kg to understand the incredible gain in performance on large sizes. He slides on a half wing without stalling and chains alley oops with disconcerting ease of glide.
The hollow under the lower surface of the profile boosts its lift without affecting its Vmax. And the very soft leading edge is reassuring at low speed. It's a monster in pumping , capable of taking you further than ever, without crashing at the slightest misstep. The proof is in this video of Malo who chains the waves for 37 minutes in a row in Fluid XXL-T. Eloquent!!!
The Fluid's specific outline is stretched here for more speed but it retains this gentle reduction in surface area towards the tips for a hyper intuitive and progressive rail to rail. This wing is really "curve" oriented. The carving is just crazy.
Its near-zero camber allows for the craziest beach starts, as Malo demonstrates in every session. You can really take off in no water without the risk of fatally catching the bottom due to the curved shape of the wing. No, the Fluid is flat and perfect for skimming!!!
With its lightning-fast Vmax , every action is boosted. The driving is as radical as you want, and you alone set the limit. You can hug the curves or go full throttle. And the more it accelerates, the more it carries and demands more.
The Fluid-T is truly the limitless front wing for surfing, pumping and tricks.
To understand the range: the Fluid-Ts have a high ratio and a very fast profile.
The T variant is a high-ratio version of the Fluid: even faster because the outline is stretched across its wingspan, and the profile thickness is reduced. The Fluid T range retains its maneuverability and low-speed lift, but is more aggressive to satisfy experts.

Buying guide
For whom?
You need a good level to appreciate it. It's not a difficult front wing, quite the opposite. But it is a front wing that requires commitment to reach its highest level of performance. Technical background is essential.
- In surf foiling, you need to have a bit of experience because this foil isn't as forgiving at low speeds as beginner foils like the Rise or the X-over. With this minimum level and more, you'll have a blast.
- In wing foiling, the Fluid is close to the Holy Grail. If you have the skill to fly with thin front wings, and therefore very efficient pumping, it will propel you into another dimension.
- In kite foiling, the Fluid can be your beginner's front wing, provided you have a good understanding of gliding. However, we recommend it for experienced riders to get the most out of it.
For what ?
A radical and limitless ride, on the border between surfing and freestyle.
Its Vmax allows it to perform well in races with exceptional performance in the low range in particular.
Surf foiling is really badass, with a natural glide that generates lift and record-breaking maneuverability. You can alternate between super-tight turns and incredible acceleration.
In wing riding, it's the most radical front wing for surfing and freestyle riding. You go fast and you do tricks. In surfing, it's as smooth as its name suggests.
In kite foiling, the Fluid goes fast and connects turns. The more you use it, the more it climbs in turns and enters turns. The icing on the cake: it's a gem when it comes to tricks. It's up to you.
What size?
Understanding the LT Front Wing
The LT has a wingspan of 85 cm, a width of 1250 cm2, a thickness of 1.4 cm and a volume of 0.9 L.
- In surf foiling, it is suitable for average builds who want a large, fast and maneuverable front wing. The pumping/maneuvering compromise is ideal for fit foilers.
- In wing foiling it is perfect for a good level rider who wants to carve, go fast, jump, do good DW, with a correct low range and flight stability.
- In kite foiling, it's really very big. Reserved for light wind under canvas.
Which quiver?
The Fluid foil is ideal with all performance boards without restriction.
Foil positioning?
For GONG foils, place the plate in the rear third for surfing, SUP and kiting, and in the middle of the US rails for winging.
The further you move it forward, the more it raises the board. The further you move it back, the more the nose of the board dives.
Be careful not to move it too far forward. We often tend not to let the back foot work, especially when coming from the kite foil. However, moving the foil back a little forces you to put more weight on the back foot and gives a more harmonious attitude and reduces the effort.

Warning:
The practice of the Foil carries risks of major accidents. A bad mastery of the Foil can cause cuts, serious wounds, even death, for you and/or others.
The Foil must be practiced taking all the precautions when used in Kite because they are increased in comparison to those related to the Foilsurf. Remember that the Foil is long, sharp, and can reach high speeds. To be hit by a Foil, or to strike a third party can have dramatic consequences.
Foil always far from others, in safe and unobstructed water.
The Foil is mainly used in the light wind. This one can fall and force you to go swimming. Therefore, do not overestimate your strengths: never go further than what you can swim under present and announced conditions.
Wear a helmet and protective jacket to ensure your buoyancy. Always wear a full neoprene wetsuit.
When handling the foil, be careful not to cut yourself on the trailing edges.
GONG declines all responsibility in the event of an accident involving a GONG Foil. The Foil practice and its benefits/consequences is under the sole responsibility of the Foil user.
