The steroid version of the Chemical to perform in Comp. 

Introduction

The Evolt is the doped-up version of the Chemical to perform in Competition. 

A true emanation of our bestselling Shortboard, the Evolt is more radical but oriented for waves in the lower range of the Chemical. 

We are clearly in the ultra performance for daily waves conditions. 

The hard lines in the back of the OFO gives it more acceleration and shorter curve radiuses. But the tail is very close to the Chemical so it finishes the turns cleanly without dragging a big butt around. So, we have more width at the lateral Fins and ditto at the tail: the mania is boosted, as the acceleration. 

The work on the hull is important: simple concave, very pronounced under the front foot, and double concave in front of the lateral, to finish up in V starting at the back foot. The rail-to-rail passage is instinctive and ultra-lively. And this heavily marked V gives optimum water release for throwing spray. 

The Evolt has a rocker that’s more accentuated in the nose than the Chemical. This curve releases the nose in the turns but also when preparing for heavy projections. You can really tighten up the curves at will. 

We offer the Evolt in two constructions: PU for a bit of inertia and a more powerful drive; and super lightweight EPS for extreme mania and aerials. Available in 7 sizes to satisfy all rider sizes. This is the Shortboard to lay it on the line when competing!
