Whether on long rides or in freefly, it fades into the background. It is highly performant but smooth, with a drift and freefly neutrality that make it completely disappear from your mind. It has been designed for excellent upwind performance, allowing the rider to maximize time surfing and downwind in a session. The goal is 100% wave riding.

The central batten of the Neutra has evolved compared to its UPE 200 version: it now has a “wasp waist” shape and is boom only.
Our prepreg carbon boom also allows for significant weight savings compared to rigid handles, saving over 200 grams removing two attachment points. We also saved 30 grams thanks to the thinner batten, and every gram counts at this level. In surfing and freefly, this weight savings is essential, keeping the wing perfectly neutral and balanced. The flex of the strut is close to zero thanks to the carbon boom that absorbs the forces at play. A non-bending strut results in a wing that stays tight, a powerful wing that never flaps and glides perfectly through the air.
Lightness and responsiveness are always prioritized in the Team Series range.
At the front of the boom, there is a pistol grip, providing a steady power that you can adjust as needed, eliminating possible flaps of the wing that slow you down when surfing in offshore wind.
The batten shape and boom angulation are strategically designed to handle the wing instinctively without constantly having to bend the rear arm. In addition to providing balanced traction in the arms, this allows for effortless, maximum power generation, ideal for jumps, for example. It’s also very effective when you’re overpowered: no more feeling of being ripped off your board, the wing remains perfectly controllable to maintain maximum comfort.

The UPE Aramid is the lightest and stiffest material on the market. The sensations in hand are simply astonishing. The wing is both one of the stiffest and one of the lightest on the market, providing an entirely new sailing experience, all at an amazing price. It’s simply incredible and perfectly in line with our commitment to offering the best to as many people as possible.
At 85g/m2 (2 times less than Dacron!), this UPE Aramid present on the leading edge and the central batten ensures, in addition to a considerable weight savings (400g on a 5m2), an unparalleled gain in stiffness and reactivity. It’s simple: the wing no longer bends! We control its twisting through the Aramid axis and the design of the shape. Thus, deformations are no longer present.
In addition to its exceptional mechanical properties, this material also has a very low absorption rate. The wing gains very little weight when wet.
Obviously, a superb material without perfect assembly is worthless, and we have worked in infinite detail to ensure the reliability of the technical solutions for its implementation. For this, we have tested all known assemblies on traction machines and innovated with new and exclusive assembly methods at GONG to surpass the standards. Our wings have never been so robust.

On this Neutra, the diameters of the inflatable structure are very reduced to minimize drag.
This reduction in diameters is more pronounced at the tips to create controlled dynamic twisting in gusts and during pumping. The tips slightly open in gusts and during pumping to maintain a soft feel in the arms for maximum comfort. This parameter brings fluidity to the behavior of the wing, and that’s exactly what we expect from a 100% waveriding wing. Highly performant but capable of fading. 
The outline of the Neutra is sleek, and its moderate aspect ratio is the perfect compromise for increased maneuverability and high efficiency. It goes upwind effectively and allows great fluidity in maneuvers.
The curved leading edge and slightly open tips add smoothness to its entry into the air. The curve of its leading edge allows for a gradual and highly predictable behavior. It’s an intuitive wing that operates smoothly and pivots in a very fluid manner. Everything seems simple and light. Fantastic for waveriding, including rotations, tricks, and, most importantly, surfing!
We avoid sharp angles on the leading edge so as not to catch water when the wing touches the surface—an essential advantage for landings and waveriding. Its segmentation ensures perfect controlled rigidity throughout its span. 
The V-shaped dihedral of the Neutra is optimized. It is the perfect balance for maximum precision and control in your hands while maintaining an ultra-maneuverable wing.
On fast tacks, the wing is securely positioned, allowing for serene navigation at high speeds. When sailing with a harness, the wing is stable, and one can appreciate the full power it offers for unlimited acceleration. The tips are more twisted and dynamically “twistable” than in previous versions, providing a lighter steering feel.
Note: The reduction in diameters does not impact the central rigidity of the Neutra, which remains infallible thanks to UPE Aramid. The wing never folds at the center. It is simply allowed to twist at the tips in case of overload! An important nuance ?
