Introduction :
The chicken loop of your kite bar is the single point of attachment between the rider and the kite. The chicken loop plays an important role both in the safety and in the control of your kite and the precision of its piloting. Everyone has their own feelings and habits, so adapting their chicken loop to their style makes perfect sense!
This chicken loop adapts easily and quickly to all bars equipped with AKA1, AKA2 or AKA 3 quick release systems, so it perfectly adapts to the GONG bars which adopted this system that respects the AFNOR standard.
The chicken loop is available in 3 sizes:
- Size XS: the chicken loop for riders equipped with a sliding rope harness. Ideal for kiting in the waves and for kite foiling! The chicken loop slides on the harness which guarantees a real gain in comfort during your wave sessions! Please note, this chicken loop is not equipped with a locking tube so it cannot be used with a harness equipped with a classic hook. A friction ring can be added in the chicken loop to prevent wear on the sliding rope.
- Size S: the traditional chicken loop with a small diameter to meet the expectations of waveriders, foilers, but also the smallest kiters because this chicken loop brings the bar closer to your body.
- Size L: chicken loop equipped with a large loop to satisfy committed freestylers who can hook and unhook easily.
Buying guide
Choose the size of your chicken loop according to your practice and your needs:
- Size XS: ideal for waveriders and kitefoilers. It is not equipped with a locking tube and it is only used with a sliding rope harness.
- Size S: ideal for waveriders, kitefoilers and the little ones! It is mounted on a harness with a hook
- Size L: ideal for committed freestylers.
Equipments
The chicken loop consists of the following elements:
- A loop of different sizes according to your choice (XS / S / L).
- The black sheath to protect the loop and fixing the locking tube.
- The locking tube (except for the chicken loop in size XS which only works with a sliding rope harness).
The chicken loop is delivered in spare parts and is very easy to install on your bar with a few turns of a 3mm Allen key (not included).
