Alu Mast for GONG ALLVATOR V2 foil.
The Aluminum MAST has been completely revisited to boost its performance and make it smarter.
The new profile we have worked on, is now in the shape of a tear-drop, and has a larger chord to optimise the hydrodynamics and limit the drag. This increase in the speed is very significant, just like the noise reduction.
This evolution has allowed us to avoid the MAST twist phenomenon and offer increased sensations while navigating. It is so strong that when you first take your turns it is surprising. When taking a curve, the reaction is instant. You don’t have the board turning, while the foil keeps going straight and the mast keeps its direction: the reaction is instant.
The profile is slightly thicker to make it stronger and allow a direct and precise steering which will surprise you even in very sharp turns with a long MAST. This increased strength will allow you to be more efficient when you pump as well as when you surf as you will gain a more precise feel of the foil. No effects coming out and troubling the steering. Very precise.
The new internal structure which places the reinforcements at the front of the profile and fills the back with leakage increases the mechanical resistance of this MAST developed due to many engineering reinforcements at GONG.
This mast is an exceptional quality, and capable of rivalising with most of the CARBON MASTS on the market ! We offer it in 5 different sizes:
- 55 cm for beginners in Surf, SUP, Wake
- 65 cm to use for Surf or SUP, or to being in Kite and Wing.
- 75 cm to Surf or SUP with a high level, Downwind, towing in Surf, Wake, Dock Starts.
- 85 cm for moves and surfing in Wing or in Kite
- 95 cm to freeride/freerace in Wing or in Kite.

Foil should be practiced by taking into consideration all kite user precautions that are associated with the sport Foil. Remember that a Foil is long, cutting, and reaches high speeds. Getting hit by a Foil, or hitting someone/thing can have dramatic consequences.
Always Foil far from others, in a secure and safe waterscape without obstacles.
Foil is most often practiced in light winds which may cease to blow leading you to return to shore by swimming. As a consequence do not overestimate your your strength/capacity : never go further out than your skill and swimming capacities and wind conditions allow.
Always wear a helmet and life vest for floatation. Always wear a full body wetsuit.
When handling the Foil, be careful not to cut yourself along the edges.
