Foil Carbon Mast HM 107 cm V2
High modulus carbon mast for ultra performance in racing and freeracing.
Description
Program
The 107HM Team Series mast is a must-have for wingfoil and kitefoil racers. Developed to win races, it’s also the perfect mast for freeracing.
Description
Our multiple world champion team riders wanted the ideal mast for different race formats. Their level of demand is clearly the highest on this planet! To push their performance even further, we have deployed a new development methodology.
Our R&D at GONG has been enriched with strong skills and powerful tools so that internally we can quantify, iterate, and compare, to obtain the best foils. Our analytical capacity is multiplied and touches on infinite details with unprecedented precision in this market.
And to go even further, we add a layer of optimization carried out by a team of hydrodynamic specialists specializing in ambitious projects such as the America’s Cup, the Ultim, the Moth, etc…
With this monstrous computing capacity, the feedback from our world champions, and the know-how of our GONG teams, we are absolutely certain of the performance of our foils. All that remains is to push them to the maximum on the water!
The 107HM features a very limited chord, a thin and consistent profile on the lower half, a high modulus construction, and a 1.5° rake integrated into the plate, making it a formidable mast for high-speed wingfoil and kitefoil at all angles and speeds.
It is specially optimized for gliding and being very rigid. Two essential characteristics that remain difficult to combine perfectly. Our very specific profile offers incredible glide and a perfectly rigid structure.
This profile does not cause stalling or ventilation at extreme speeds and against extreme gusts. You can push to the maximum. In all circumstances, this mast will be your best ally for beating your records and your opponents.
Its length allows keeping the foil and the board away from the surface for high-speed edges while maintaining comfort for changing rails during maneuvers.
In winging, it’s truly an amazing performance boost. But also a mast that reassures you. We have so much margin that we can ride fast without stressing. Full tilt speed runs are serene. Going fast is no longer a challenge but simply the norm. To the point that we almost struggle to ride with people equipped with “normal” masts because we go so much faster.
In kitefoiling, this length is an asset for going fast of course, but it is exactly what also allows linking tricks together in a tight space. Mounted with a very “surf” oriented front wing, this mast allows carving like never before! We engage turns as we would in powder snow. It’s exhilarating.
Your benefits are clear:
- A top level shape created by one of the leaders in the foiling world.
- A design at the cutting edge of R&D and ahead of its time.
- The incomparable stiffness of high modulus carbon and stringer!
- Best weight/rigidity compromise thanks to high-pressure molding in one-pass.
- No play possible thanks to the conical assembly.
- Solidity thanks to pro aluminum or titanium fuselages, proven on thousands of foils.
- Significant weight gain with our foam mast.
- The Full Options 12K carbon finish at a crazy price.
- An incredible price that can only be explained by our direct relationship with you.
- Simple maintenance and easy repairs.
Ideal length for high-speed courses
Its length has been specially chosen for the pure race program. The mast is long enough to provide tolerance at high speed and in very close-hauled sailing. And it is “short” enough to maintain control and stability in maneuvers.
Constant thickness at the bottom of the mast
The mast’s geometry is designed to provide maximum glide and stability on all water surfaces. The lower half of the mast is 13 mm thick and the profile is constant. This allows for the best glide without flexibility or twist.
The upper part’s function is to stiffen the mast to the maximum. Despite its great length and thin section, this mast has impeccable rigidity that allows you to always stay in control.

Integrated rake plate
The 1.5° rake integrated into the plate allows for a slight lift of the board’s nose. The slightly raised front foot provides comfort at high speeds and tolerance during touches. You can clearly push harder on the front foot to accelerate.

Buying guide
For whom?
This is the mast for the most demanding, careful users, and technical experts because it is the best there is.
This mast is intended for experienced riders, highly oriented towards Slalom/Race. It is also perfect for those who like to race with friends at their home spot.
What is it for?
Its length of 107cm primarily targets high-speed wing foiling and kite foiling. It offers optimal comfort and great control thanks to a greater depth and a profile specially designed for pure speed.
It also proves perfect for long-distance, offering maximum efficiency on entire edges without ever being slowed down by choppy water or swell. It flies over the water at crazy speeds.
Moreover, it is perfectly suited for a race up/downwind program that requires being the fastest around a course. This mast offers angles of upwind previously unmatched.
Finally, in freeriding, it’s really the mast length that will give you all the tolerance you need to fly with confidence. We’re high on the water and everything becomes easy. The foil no longer ventilates, and the rail no longer touches. Paradoxically, it’s almost relaxing. We handle high-speeds without any stress.
In kitefoiling, it’s really nice to have all this length to avoid touching and thus chain tacks and tricks. You can obviously mount it with performance wings, but you can also put a really playful front wing on it just to enjoy this height in the moves. It’s really great for carving and even jumping.
Which carbon mast size?

The 107 cm:
- For tow-in: it’s perfect for very big and fast waves.
- For winging: it’s perfect for those looking for speed and endurance.
- For kite foiling: it’s perfect for rough conditions and reaching your Vmax.

Which quiver?
This mast is mainly suitable for “high performance” wings , it is intended for very specific use, race/slalom.
It is not recommended to mount a front wing larger than 90 cm wingspan on this mast.
Foil positioning?
For GONG foils, place the plate at the rear third in surfing, SUP, and kite, and in the middle of the US rails in winging.
The further forward you place it, the more it raises the board. The further back you move it, the more the nose of the board dives.
Note that this mast is designed with a 1.5° positive angle on the plate, which will raise your front foot for a more race-oriented position.
Which cover?
