Fat Boy PG Single Fin - FCS II
Description
The FCS Fat Boy PG Single - FCS II is a longboard fin designed to combine rail performance with nose-riding stability. Its profile is distinguished by a bulbous tip, designed to keep the tail in the water when the surfer moves forward on the board.
This unique shape provides the necessary support for extended nose rides while allowing for rail engagement in turns. The Fat Boy is therefore ideal for longboarders who want to alternate between rail surfing and nose riding, whether on traditional longboards or performance-oriented models.
Its Performance Glass (PG) construction, made from machine-cut layers of fiberglass, offers a rigid structure that maintains constant flex under powerful pressure.
Thanks to the FCS II Tool-Less Longboard system, the fin can be installed and removed without screws or tools. It also allows you to adjust its position in the fin box directly during a session, to adapt the board's behavior to your desired feel.

Buying guide
The shaper's (L'Ours) opinion: “Hello, the most significant point of the Fatboy is the increased angle of attack in turns. It's clear that the disproportionately large surface area at the tip of the fin provides drive in noseriding, but that's not the most important thing in my opinion, because all noserider fins do the same. The Fatboy's enormous head will foil as soon as it passes the vertical in a turn. So if you apply a little pressure to turn, the fin will follow or even exaggerate the turn. When done well, it's fabulous; when done poorly, it's funny to watch! Thank you.”
