Based in Lanzarote, David has been connected to the sea his entire life, growing up in a family deeply rooted in surfing long before boards even reached the Canary Islands. With his father and uncle surfing improvised wooden planks, the ocean has always been a natural part of his identity, shaping a lifelong passion for waves, wind, and exploration.
Inspired to join the GONG team by its family spirit and the opportunity to contribute to the brand’s development and evolution, he values being part of a collective driven by passion for watersports. David’s strength lies in his curiosity and drive to explore new conditions and push limits, embracing how evolving equipment opens the door to new waves, maneuvers, and jumps once thought impossible. Most proud of his journey of exploration and shared experiences with friends, he is motivated by the many spots still ahead of him, while also focusing on paving the way for future generations to enjoy the ocean lifestyle.
