A premium technology on every level
The dropstitch used in our I-SUP range is Woven Dropstitch—the most efficient assembly method in the inflatable world: light and fast. On this GONG range, boards feature a double-layer thermo-fused construction on both deck and hull. This is known as Woven Dropstitch Fusion.
This membrane offers the lightness of woven fabric with the stiffness of a dual-layer:
- Weight reduction: around 20% lighter than traditional double-layer (no glue between the two fused PVC layers).
- 30% stiffer than standard inflatable technology.
- Durability boost: twice as resistant as standard constructions.
What sets our woven dropstitch fusion apart
- Double PVC layer on the rails
- Top-grade Woven Dropstitch: any irregularity is rejected, and downgraded fabric is sold to low-cost factories.
- High-density weave: more threads per m² than standard woven dropstitch, enabling higher pressure resistance, longer durability, and zero explosion risk.
- Operating pressure: 15 PSI. Our inflatable SUPs are perfectly rigid at 15 PSI—there’s no need to overinflate, but they can safely handle up to 20 PSI.
