TEAM NEWS: ROUND 2 OF THE SURF-FREESTYLE WINGFOIL WORLD TOUR IN TARIFA

Our Pro Team is ready for the 2nd stage of the Wingfoil World Tour this Wednesday, May 1st in Tarifa.

The Team is in Tarifa for a week now. Since their arrival, Malo Guénolé, Bastien Escofet, Francesco Cappuzzo, Clément Hamon, and Max Robinson have been training together as a team to validate their tricks in the local conditions and fine-tune their strategies.

Despite solid performances in Leucate, Malo and Bastien narrowly missed the podium. A good way to strengthen their determination to excel in this 2nd stage and climb up the overall rankings.

So, the team is rallying with a barrage of tricks to elevate their game and deliver a high-quality show in Tarifa! With the constant wind they've had since their arrival, training sessions are continuous.

All the week, the Team has honed their skills to incorporate a blend of big, powerful, and technical moves, aiming to introduce new, competition-worthy maneuvers. Innovative tricks carry scoring multipliers, with inverted tricks receiving a 1.3X multiplier and non-inverted moves earning a 1.2X multiplier—an aspect the team has diligently factored into their training regimen.

Don't miss the live broadcast to catch these trick battles, each with its own style!

Sitting in 4th and 5th place respectively in the standings, Malo and Bastien are determined to break into the top 3 overall, securing podium positions in the overall rankings. Francesco, Clément, and Max are equally focused and determined to move up the rankings by putting up strong performances in this event.

Note that there will be no race in Tarifa. It's a 100% Surf Freestyle event, which promises to be light wind, thus highly strategic and technical.

Scheduled from May 1st to May 4th, the event will be livestreamed.

Follow along with us as our Team Riders compete in the heats.

Stay tuned!
