SESSION : cold SUP trip with GONG !!!
Since a long time, l’Ours and JVB wanted to do that session. The idea is simple : surf all the waves of that gulf.
But they had to wait months to have the right swell, able to push waves on each breaks in the same day.
Today, that guys had one more great stand up paddlesurf trip. L’Ours tells:
“It was super freezing. The path in the mountain was very fun to do! Arrived, the swell was small but perfect for that trip. Few minutes to prepare the photo gear and lets go girls!!! We started with the first wave in the bay, probably the longest wave I ever surfed…
Then we gone to the lighthouse, playing between rocks and truing to manage the backwash. Some nice wipe outs but lot of fun.
Few paddle stroke to the North, we finded that perfect slab. The pocket is absolutely perfect to make barrels.
After few freezing hours of surf, our photo gear was empty of power. We gone back to the beach to let them in the car and lets for the second part of the trip: the South.
Once again, a perfect wave on a long slab… The sun in our back and the snow in the ocean, 1km far from us… Wonderful!
The few km to come back to the beach were epic because of the strong off shore and the snow… but what a funny stand up paddlesurf day !!! SUPers : JVB and l’Ours on a GONG gear.
