NEWS: A FIRST PUMP FOIL COMP IN POLAND!
The competition took place in the Masurian Lake District and brought together ultra-enthusiastic foilers that were keen to showcase the full potential of this fast growing sport. During their runs, the competitors had to demonstrate agility and control in the Slalom category, perfect technique to reach the highest top speed in the Speed category and of course endurance for the Holy Grail in pumping, the Distance category.
Congratulations to the organizers for shedding light on all the fun challenges we love about dock starts and to Olec Czapla for his domination through the three categories on his GONG set-up. Here are the images and his report:
“Hello everyone, yesterday we had our first pumpfoil competition in Poland . In three categories ten competitors competed for first place. 1. Slalom 2. Speed and 3. Distance. I am very happy to have been the lucky winner in all three categories. Of course on my GONG Sirus 116cm and 156cm with the 72HM mast and the 85cm carbon mast. 2nd place Piotr Szymiec also on his Sirus 156cm and the 72HM mast. 3rd place Cezary Augustynowicz on Sabfoil. Sorry for the overall length of the video… but maybe someone wants to watch a little longer.”
