INFO : a long or a small SUPboard ???

It is now possible to ride a really small board without a big SUP hability. For example, the new 9’3 GONGSUP is a real beginner board as easy than a 12′ No Friend Attitude. The board is lighter, easy to move and drive, easy to put in a car even a small one, easy to store in a flat, with a same “surf” feeling as on a regular surfboard. And of course, a 9′ is chiper than a 12′!!! But the turn effect are more sensible, the long distance hability is dead or boring, and the speed is less important in small waves under 50cm. So, big boards will live during long time close to small boards. For now, GONG SUP is the only brand to offer some really high performance short SUP and beginners short SUP.
