HOW TO : take off for sex ;-)))
Take off on a shortSUP is very different than on a regular 7′ SUP or longer.
The shortSUP is very very slow…
So, you have to put the front foot close to the nose and the back foot close to the tail in order to manage the rocker in the face. Remember to keep one foot on each side of the stringer.
When the wave (huge one on these pics…) comes, the board dive. Don’t worry, the volume will make it come out and help the take off.
The row effect is quite easy to manage if you keep this stance.
