New Shape Inspired by the Mint

The benchmark of glide in an accessible format is the shape of the Mint, a board from our rigid collection, which inspires this new HIPE. This means a less compact, thinner, and narrower board that maximizes glide to facilitate takeoff. The board planes more efficiently and allows you to break free from the water more easily, while still maintaining the essential stability needed to be comfortable during non-foiling phases.

In its new dimensions, with sizes ranging from 5’1 to 5’10 (75L to 150L), it offers beginner and progressing wing foilers accessibility, performance, and unmatched ease of use.

News semi-rigid rail on the tail

To improve takeoff, our designers developed a rigid rail at the tail of the board. This allows for a clean release of water streams at the end of the hull, resulting in better glide before flying and boosting acceleration. You pump less and fly earlier.

A 2-in-1 concept

The HIPE, as its name suggests "High Inflatable Performance Evolution," is the result of extensive development, merging the best of high-end composite and inflatable technologies.

The HIPE Perf consists of a secure and generously sized float with double-layer welded Woven Dropstitch technology combined with our carbon plate that absorbs all the foil's forces. This GONG innovation of two boards in one is revolutionary.

A masterpiece of composite craftsmanship, made of full prepreg and high-density foam stringers, the plate is securely bonded under the inflatable structure. It covers the entire stance between the rider's feet. Mechanical efforts are thus perfectly transmitted to the foil, yet it remains short enough to fit the board into a backpack. You can thus enjoy all the benefits of an inflatable board without compromising your practice.

The HIPE Perf is equipped with SCS!

The composite plate is equipped with Smart Connection System (SCS) double entry boxes to easily install and adjust the foil. The double holes correspond to the stance of the holes in your GONG foil plate. Simply present the foil with the brass nuts already mounted on the plate, slide them into the rails without disassembling, tighten the 4 screws, and you're ready to go.

To facilitate foil assembly, our new US fixing brass nuts are connected by a carbon fiber rod and are included with the board. This saves time for foil assembly, and the adjustment is precise. No more risk of losing your brass nuts: you leave them screwed on the plate and slide them into the US rails using the 4 new insertion holes. There's nothing to disassemble: just tighten the screws and go!

Foil adjustment is also easier and more precise with the adjustment information engraved on the plate.
