  To achieve the responsiveness, maneuverability and glide worthy of a good SUP in the waves, we have developed the Couine Marie ShortSUP and Longboard with the aim of performing the same actions as with a rigid construction:

1. 1. Extreme rigidity is the key to the liveliness of a board and we achieve this thanks to the high-end inflatable technology in Woven Dropstitch double welded layers which is used on the entire COUINE MARIE RANGE.

   

1. 2. Fins that offer reactivity, in particular thanks to an effective fixing (zero play allowed!) in a fin box that allows you to mount your favorite fins. This objective is achieved by the use of FCS II boxes thanks to our patented integration system.

   

1. 3. A fluid and efficient shape, in particular with a good rocker at the nose to help with take offs. This important work on the shape is completed on the COUINE MARIE SHORTSUP by a narrow nose to allow tight carves and a slightly pinched round tail for maximum maneuverability and speed.

   

1. 4. A tail that holds in the carves! The rails on inflatable SUPs are naturally rounded, which is not compatible with the grip needed to cut turns short when surfing. We have therefore innovated at GONG by equipping the tails of our COUINE MARIE dedicated to surfing, the SHORTSUP and the LONGBOARD, with an edge rail. This semi-rigid rail at the tail allows an unprecedented grip to make beautiful carves with precision.
