GEAR : feedback NFA 9' Bamby !!!

Antony shares with us on the forum his impressions about the 9′ NFA Bamby :
“Hello,
Back from holidays, I finally could test for the first time my NFA 9′ sleeping in the garage for 1 week.
Remember, I do 70 kg, I am in the Var, with a rather flat sea this morning.
Until now, I had always used SUP for rent very accessible (about 10′ or more and good volume with more or less 170 liters).
So first impression once stood, it is certainly a little more unstable laterally than what I had been trying but nothing insurmountable. After 5 minutes I was pretty comfortable on my new toy.
About buoyancy, no worries as l’Ours had told me in relation to my template. As for the Row, again, it remains largely manageable, and then I did not choose this board for cruising for several hours, but for surfing on méditerrannée and make small trips along the coast when it is flat .
Once confident, I went to get a little more off the ripples caused by the bow of some boats passing (lack of natural waves).
The first sends me a small series of 40 cm that made me plunge into the sea, because of a probably position too advanced and also time again to take control of the NFA 9 ‘.
The following waves were smaller, and review my position, I could appreciate the nervousness of my toy. The 50 liters and 1 or 2 feet less (compared to boards that I had tried) certainly associated shape of the board allowed me to feel immediately that this NFA 9 ‘expects only one thing : every little wave the “kick under its arse” to reveal its full potential.
In summary, the board looks playful and nervous but also reassuring and versatile. I have not had the opportunity to test other GONG, but I think the NFA is an excellent choice for my use (first steps in surfing in the waves and mediterrannée few quiet cruising of 1 or 2 hours when it’s quiet, on condition of not being too armed and already have a few hours of SUP).
So here is my first humble opinion. Next contribution when I could test it in his favorite program : longboard in all conditions.” SUPer : Antony en GONG SUP 9′ NFA Bamby. Source : Team GONG SUP, stand up paddle accessible pour tous.
