The Veloce tested in wing, SUP foil and pumping by Adrien, GONG ambassador.
Wing foiler: Malo, team rider GONG, riding the Cruzader Point LW FSP Pro, Droid Aramid X, HM85 mast, Veloce front wing and Fluid stabilizer.
Glide and speed
“Ambassador Tour: Veloce XL test… the multi-discipline queen 😍
Here’s my feedback on the biggest Veloce I’ve had the chance to test. You can feel the Veloce V3 DNA with great glide, solid forward speed and an excellent low-end range.”
Glide, maneuvers and freefly in wing foil
“In wing foil (paired with a Cruzader Point LW 80L and Droid CZ 5.5): for me, it’s the ultimate front wing for ultra-light wind when it’s barely blowing (6–8 knots). Once you’re flying, it’s just bliss in those conditions. The glide is insane, you can pump to relaunch and accelerate, it’s super agile in waves and during maneuvers for this wingspan.
Last night: light-wind session in Hendaye and pure joy chasing offshore swell, then riding them back in freefly or while playing with the wing.
Before, I used the Sirus L in those conditions — it also got up early but was slower, had less glide, and was less maneuverable. Everything evolves — it’s wild.”
Flights and pumping in SUP foil
“In SUP foil (paired with a Sner 105L): it paddles super easily and you fly on tiny bumps. Awesome. And of course, the pumping is excellent even though I’m not quite dialed on my reconnections yet.”
The Veloce in dock start
“In dock start (paired with a Kluber): this was a challenge for me because I’d only done it with the Sirus XL. Took me a good twenty attempts before I could launch. But then — amazing!!! Much faster cruising speed, awesome glide, and super efficient pumping. I love it. No way I’m going back to the Sirus XL, even though it’s much easier.
In conclusion, if you’re into multiple disciplines like me, it’s impossible not to have this in your quiver.”
