For someone starting out, I find the Plus really super stable and smooth to control—perfect for being relaxed on the water without having to worry about the kite above your head.
The difference with the Neutra is mainly in how it handles. It's more responsive and playful, yet also very stable, but livelier.”
Upwind Performance and Low Wind Range
“I found the upwind ability to be incredible—really—whether it was with the Neutra or the Plus.
After several sessions, I’m now nailing my jibes with no problem, folding and relaunching the lowkite. It’s truly a unique feeling when surfing. I’m hooked!
Here’s my personal wind range (I weigh 70 kg), using a NOTW 7’8 and Veloce L 1040:
- 2m = from 25 knots
- 3m = from 18 knots
- 4m = from 15 knots
- 5m = I didn’t get to test it, but I’d say from 12 knots
Of course, this depends on my level, weight, etc... In any case, these Lowkites are a major success!”
