Transition from a dacron Neutra to the latest Neutra shape in UPE Aramid for Triare, who shares his impressions.

Conditions of the session
“Test of the new Neutra 5.5 m2 UPE Aramid wing on the spot of Carantec (Nord Finistère), flat. Wind south-southwest (onshore), irregular 12/20 knots. 66 Kg rider on a HIPE Pro 4’6 with a set-up: HM92cm mast, Ypra-S M front wing and Fluid H 42 stab.”
Rigid, light and compact
“First impression after inflation: hyper-rigid! A piece of “metal sheet”, light (I did not weigh it but it seems lighter than my Neutra RH 5 m2), compact (smaller wingspan than the Neutra RH 5 m2), for me the boom is a novelty (never practiced windsurf before). It’s very pleasant: increased maneuverability, easier tacks, one-handed navigation…”
A better heading
“A wing with a slimmer profile: better upwind performance and a crazy heading allowing trajectories that can baffle other users on the spot. Highly satisfying power, but manageable in gusts without being “ripped off”, better lift and parachute effect in the jumps, even if the conditions for testing the jumps weren’t very muscular.
In other words, nothing but good things to say after 90 minutes of this first session: power, heading, rigidity, compactness and maneuverability.”
Team Series wings in their lighter, stiffer and more dynamic UPE Aramid construction are available on demand for the most demanding wing foilers until March 29, 2024.
