First Downwind with the Lowkite Plus
“After 30 minutes of practice on land and 5 minutes on a skateboard (videos posted here last week), I decided to make my first attempt on the water directly in Downwind conditions.
And I filmed everything from start to finish (40 minutes of footage that I’ll soon share on YouTube).
After 15 minutes of fumbling, tangling, and untangling, I managed to launch, pack everything up, and complete my downwind. I relaunched once or twice. Super easy.
The wind was perfect (20–25 knots) and I was using the 4m Plus for my 100 kg. Setup: Cruzader 7'0 XL and Veloce H XXL.”
