Switching to the EPS Pro techno for David brought more lightness and dynamism to his surf foiling sessions for more waves and connections.

A Lethal with less volume

“Well, I discovered a new size and a new technology with the Lethal EPS Pro 4’6 which replaces my good old Lethal FSP Pro 5’1. Being over 80kg I had big doubts about how well it would float me when paddling back to the line up or in take offs on tiny waves. All in all the 10 liter volume drop didn’t affect paddling that much. The take-offs went as well as usual. There was a big difference in pumping though. It was way easier. I flew further and longer than before (as I could read on my GPS watch ;)). I also gain dynamism in carves with less inertia, more reactivity. Really happy to have dared this volume drop.”

A fast shape in a performance-oriented construction

“The shape of the Lethal quickly picks up speed when paddling and you find yourself straight into the action. In this regard it’s very close to my Lethal 5’1, but way more responsive. It was a little surprising at first but I quickly adapted. As I never use footstraps I opted for this lighter techno without inserts but which I hoped would be just as dynamic. Well I was not disappointed. You almost feel like you’re on a pump foiling board ;). It’s light and dynamic underfoot. Perfect to go the distance pumping and connect the sets out the back. A board I recommend without hesitation to boost your strapless pumping.”
