FEEDBACK: HIPE PRO

New board, new tech and lower volume for Tien who shares his feedback on our forum after his first session on the HIPE Pro.
“Here’s some feedback about the HIPE Pro 4’6. I am 1m73 for 72kg. Wave and freeride program. I ordered the HIPE Pro in order to go down in volume and all the convenience of an inflatable baord. Coming from a Lethal 4’10, I was not super confident stepping down to a HIPE Pro 4’6 with its 60 l.
But it turned out to be great.
The switch was done smoothly, without any problem.
First test on flat with an irregular northerly wind. 10 knots and gusts to 25 knots at the end of the session. Kneeling on the board, it doesn’t tilt back and forth as much as the Lethal 4’6 and a just a bit less than a Lethal 4’10. My big fear was losing too much comfort in light wind. So all good.
First takeoff, the cork effect of the HIPE Pro gets me out of the water in no time, as fast as the Lethal 4’10. In the maneuvers it is reactive. There is nothing too much in the jumps ? , the reception is super soft.
I loved it.”
