The hard to resist appeal of the Fluid FG convinced Stuart to take the leap and give it a try.

Wing foilers : Charlie and Malo, GONG team riders, with Mint FSP 2X and Cruzader Point FSP Pro wing boards, Plus wings, and Fluid FG foil setups.

Trying the fiberglass Fluid

“First I bought the Curve and the Veloce v3 in size L. The Curve was lovely but no match to the feel of the Veloce so I just kept the Veloce, a beautiful piece of engineering, but I was having trouble learning tacks and being able to sail away on foil unless I was using a big old Curve v2 XXL-H that I have for light wind days.

Temptation got the better of me with the arrival of the new FG wings and I thought I'd give the Fluid L-H a try (I didn't get on with the old v2 version).

Lower stall speed of the Fluid

“Wow what an amazing wing, tacks are so much easier, super snappy turns, easy, jumps and a really lively loose feel under foot. Two flat water sessions so far, beat my previous top speed by 1 km to get 35 kmh. I'm sure they will go faster, similar feeling glide to the Veloce but a little less maybe, but a much lower stall speed. Looking forward to giving it a blast in the waves”
