Low-End Power
“First sesh with the 2025 Droid Boom 5m (Perf Series).
For context, I’ve been much more used to the smoothness of the Neutra for years.
It’s clear there’s a noticeable difference in power, especially the low-end.
It’s super effective for takeoff, upwind riding, and maintaining lift during jumps.”
Freefly, control and overall quality
“No particular issues during the freefly phases (luckily there were waves!).
What impressed me most during this test was how fast you can tack—pretty much as fast as saying the word!
The combination of the boom and Droid’s swing design works wonders!
Small detail: the finishing quality on this model is really excellent too, it shows across the board (bag, boom, etc.).
Can’t wait to go again in different conditions!”
