The HIPE First adopts the revolutionary concept of the HIPE with a revised shape, construction and equipment to make it even more accessible for worry-free beginnings and an ultra-smooth progression.

A shape dedicated to progression

The shape of the HIPE First, available in 3 sizes, 5’5, 5’11 and 6’6, is specially developed to facilitate your beginnings. Pre-flight stability is improved with a generous max width and a carrying tail that facilitates balance, especially on your knees. The nose is more slender to optimize the take-off phase and limit the impact of touchdowns.

Full fiberglass and carbon plate

The plate of the HIPE First is made of a fiberglass core with a carbon lay up on the surface to obtain an unbeatable price. The rigidity requirements for strapless practice are largely met. The mechanical performance is impeccable for strapless riding. It is rigid and durable.

Lightweight construction

Its single-layer Drop Stitch inflatable technology with a double-layer on the rails saves weight. The HIPE First is the lightest board in the wing range (about 600g less than a HIPE and 400 to 500g less than an equivalent volume FSP PRO rigid board). A huge advantage for transporting it and for navigation.

New equipment

With the exception of the footstrap inserts, the HIPE First benefits from all the equipment of a HIPE Pro, including the brand new Smart Connection System (SCS) with which you save precious time to mount the foil and obtain precise adjustment. No more risk of losing your screws and nuts: you leave them on the plate and you slide them into the US rails through the 4 insertion holes. Nothing more to disassemble: we just have to tighten the screws and off you go!!!

The HIPE First, which is also a trip partner for the whole family, comes in a super practical and robust transport bag. Its voluminous bag allows you to store the HIPE First, its foil, its wing and some accessories. It is designed for travel and without excess baggage on most airlines!
