Roller to tail release

Add some spice to your roller by finishing in pure glide on the nose of the board! A big roller is an exhilarating maneuver in itself that combines speed and explosiveness. The glide on the nose is the icing on the cake. It is also the first step to a full 360 at the end of your wave. It is therefore a must for pushing performance in wave riding.
At the end of your roller, which consists of a perfectly executed rail to rail with transfer of your weight (see our How To Roller), push your curve to the maximum. Release the fins by putting the board flat and increasing the pressure on your back foot. Do not let the kite pull you downwind because this will prevent you from turning the board around. The kite must remain relatively high without being at full power, shock the bar a little if necessary. Extend your ride on the nose as long as the energy of your kite allows. The slide can take a while when overpowered 😉 To regain control, simply bring your rear foot back and relaunch with your kite.
