Front Wing Ypra S

The Ypra S front wing is our high-performance front wing, tremendously effective in all fields. The essential front wing for an experienced rider who both wants to be the fastest on the spot and to send it in surfing and freestyle.

The Ypra S is the 2022 World Champion in Surf-Freestyle and Freefly-Slalom under the feet of Malo Guénolé. In 2023 it became World Champion again in U-16 Surf-Freestyle with Clément Hamon, then in U-19 reefly-Slalom for a second time in a row with Malo Guénolé. Later in 2023 it clinched the Big Air World Champion title with Julien Rattotti. This front wing is at the top of the world hierarchy.

The glide of this wing is a game changer in the wing foiling world. You feel pulled forward at crazy speeds without any restraint. It’s breathtaking. Its thinness, its thin leading edge, and its moderate high aspect ratio give you all the ingredients to set speed records hands down.

Stab Fluid H

The Fluid H Stab is made for high speed with a comfortable lift.

The shape of its intrado is very concave to maintain a strong lift which helps on takeoff and in all low speed situations. The feeling is stable and firm despite the high ratio. The outline is thinner at the tips to allow a perfect rail to rail. Hardcore turns or big curves, this stab is perfect in maneuverability. To try it is to marry it 😉

Carbon mast HM 85

Its high modulus carbon construction with internal stringer is super rigid and responsive. It allows you to maintain a formidable dynamic despite the lower thicknesses. This technology is the very best in high pressure, high temperature molded carbon construction.

Its profile is greatly refined, in thickness and in chord, as it approaches the fuselage, which reduces drag, meaning higher speeds. At the level of the fuselage, the thickness is reduced by 12% compared to the V2 carbon mast. We clearly have less drag !!!

More glide means a higher top speed, but above all, more ease to reach it. So we accelerate harder, we relaunch, we fly early, we have better handling. These are essential assets when looking for absolute performance.

Deep Foil Bag

This is the ideal bag for carefully storing all the parts of your foil. Its clever design allows flexible storage for your entire quiver.

It contains three padded compartments (for 2 front wings and a mast with its top plate or 3 front wings), a specific pocket for the stabs, a small specific pocket for a fuselage and another one dedicated to the screws.

For Whom?

It is a foil for good level riders who want maximum speed on a crosswind gait and ease for takeoff and maneuvers.

You must have a good level to take off with this front wing. In the air it is easy to control at high speed because it is its field of action. The tips can come out of the water for fresh air but without major consequence. We are at the top of performance in all styles: slalom, freestyle, surfing, freefly.

In summary, you need a good technical background to take advantage of this front wing.

For what?

These front wings which increase your average speed are intended for FreeFly-Slalom and Surf-Freestyle at the highest level:

It is perfect for flying over the spot with a high average speed, all with ease.

You have unprecedented speed to fly over the spot, an insane pop and a great surfer.

THE YPRA S FRONT WING

The XS has a 60 cm wingspan, 460 cm² and is 0.8 cm thick for a volume of 0.19L.

In surf foiling, it is a very small wing which can be suitable for pros. Looking for: maximum speed and long curves in tow-in sessions in very very big conditions.
In wing foiling, it’s very small but perfect for a lightweight in very strong wind who wants to reach crazy speeds and go big in jumps.
In kite foiling, it’s great to go full speed, the wingspan is moderate so easily manageable.

The S has a 70 cm wingspan, 610 cm² and is 1.0 cm thick for a volume of 0.29L.

In surf foiling, it is a very small wing which can be suitable for pros. Looking for: maximum speed and long curves in tow-in sessions in big conditions.
In wing foiling, it’s very small but perfect for a lightweight in strong wind who wants to reach crazy speeds and go big in jumps.
In kite foiling, it’s great to go full speed, the wingspan is still manageable.

The MS has a 75 cm wingspan, 700 cm² and is 1.05 cm thick for a volume of 0.36L.

In surf foiling, it can be suitable for pros of an average size. What you’re looking for: maximum speed and big carves with stability in tow-in.
In wing foiling, it is perfect for an average sized rider who wants to fly at high speeds or to send it in freestyle.
In kite foiling, it is too wide.

The M has a 80 cm wingspan, 785 cm² and is 1.1 cm thick for a volume of 0.43L.

In surf foiling, it is a small wing which can be suitable for pros of good size. Looking for: maximum speed and solid turns with stability in tow-in.
In wing foiling, it’s small but perfect for an average size who wants to sail at high speeds and send in freestyle.
In kite foiling, it’s too wide, forget it.

The L has a 90 cm wingspan, 1000 cm² and is 1.2 cm thick for a volume of 0.61L.

In surf foiling, it is an intermediate wing that is suitable for lightweights to surf long, sometimes hollow waves and be able to return to the peak!
In wing foiling, it is the wing for an average weight rider to take off easily and fly over the spot.
In kite foiling, it’s too wide, forget it.

The XL has a 100 cm wingspan, 1200 cm² and is 1.4 cm thick for a volume of 0.84L.

In surf foiling, it is an intermediate wing which is suitable for average weight surfers to surf long waves and be able to return to the peak with ease!
In wing foiling, it is the wing for bigger riders to take off easily and fly over the spot.
In kite foiling, it’s too wide, forget it.

THE FLUID H STAB

The 38 cm, 180 cm2, 0.5 cm thick for a volume of 0.04 L.

En surf foiling : For small riders in everyday waves.
In wing foiling: For small riders or very good level and/or strong wind.
In kite foiling: it is great with a small front wing.

The 42 cm, 220 cm2, 0.5 cm thick for a volume of 0.06L.

In surf foiling: For riders of an average size or for big riders in powerful waves and/or in tow-in.
In wing foiling: For riders of an average size or very good level and/or strong wind. It’s rather easy.
In kite foiling: it’s rather big so very easy.

The 45 cm, 260 cm2, 0.6 cm thick for a volume of 0.07L.

In surf foiling: versatile size that offers both good speed and pumping comfort.
In wing foiling: easy for all and ideal in the light.
In kite foiling: it’s big but fun.

The 47 cm wingspan, 290 cm², 0.6 cm thick for a volume of 0.09L.

In surf foiling: For big riders in everyday waves.
In wing foiling: easy for the bigger riders and/or perfect in very light wind conditions.
In kite foiling: it’s too big.

The 49 cm wingspan, 310 cm2, 0,7cm thickness with a volume of 0,11L.

In surf foiling: it’s big, for big riders only with a big/giant front wing, great for pumping.
In wing foiling: easy for the bigger riders and/or perfect in very light conditions with a front wing like the Sirus for example.
In kite foil: it’s too big.

Delivery

Delivery delay

We indicate a preparation and shipping time of 3 working days. In reality, the majority of orders are shipped within 24/48 hours.

The delivery time, i.e. delivery time of the package to your home, then depends on the delivery location and the carrier.

We work with reliable and efficient carriers. 99% of shipments go perfectly and quickly. In the case of the remaining 1%, rest assured that we will do what is necessary with the carrier.

Shipping fees

Unlike other sites, shipping costs are not hidden behind the price of our products. You know exactly what shipping costs you, and you are not disadvantaged if you choose to collect your order at our GONG Space Center.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and volume of each package, and your delivery address.

Tracking your package

Delivery tracking is managed directly by the carriers to whom we have entrusted your packages. They will contact you by email or SMS to allow you to choose delivery methods and follow the route of your package.

Carriers

We work with the best transport societies to deliver to you throughout Europe and the world within very short deadlines. We chose them for their quality of service and their compliance with deadlines.

For mainland France, 80% of your orders arrive at their destination in less than 48 hours of processing.

For Europe, delivery times vary from 3 to 6 working days, depending on the country of destination.

For the rest of the world, delivery times depend on transit time and customs clearance time. This delay depends on customs and can last from a few days to a few weeks depending on the destination and seasonality.

Please note, transport time is added to preparation/shipping time. Two companies collaborate on your order (GONG and the carrier). Each one masters its activity and is committed to optimizing its deadlines so that you are delivered as quickly as possible and at a reasonable price.

Eco-responsible packaging

Preserving the environment is an absolute priority. This is why we do everything possible to reduce our ecological footprint.

The most important thing is to sell quality, durable products that will be repairable and will please you for a long time.

For our shipments, we use:

Scotch craft paper.

Final packaging in high-end cardboard.

For rigid boards: Flexi-Hex, very high resistance ecological packaging.

This means:

Reusable and recyclable packaging.

An almost total reduction in single-use plastic.

Maximum protection and impact resistance for rigid boards thanks to the innovative Flexi-Hex honeycomb design (35mm thick).

Receipt of your product

Upon delivery, check the condition of your package in the presence of the carrier. A complete explanation email on the procedure to follow will be sent to you when your order is shipped.

Despite our requirements and all the care we take in the packaging and protection of your product, transport hazards may occur, and your product may suffer more or less significant transport damage.

Note that the products are protected in their carton. If you have any doubts, simply refuse delivery and contact us.

More infos

Warning:

The practice of the sport Foil may expose you to serious injury. A poor mastering of Foil may lead to cut, serious injury and/or including death for you and/or others.

Foil should be practiced by taking into consideration all kite user precautions that are associated with the sport Foil. Remember that a Foil is long, cutting, and reaches high speeds. Getting hit by a Foil, or hitting someone/thing can have dramatic consequences.

Always Foil far from others, in a secure and safe waterscape without obstacles.

Foil is most often practiced in light winds which may cease to blow leading you to return to shore by swimming. As a consequence do not overestimate your your strength/capacity : never go further out than your skill and swimming capacities and wind conditions allow.

Always wear a helmet and life vest for floatation. Always wear a full body wetsuit.

When handling the Foil, be careful not to cut yourself along the edges.

GONG is NOT responsable in case of any and all accidents implicating a Foil GONG. The practice of Foil is undertaken under the complete responsability of the Foil User/Practioner.
