GONG Wing Board Cruzader Point FSP Pro 5'8 Second Hand 9767

Program
Take off super early and carve without limits in exceptional comfort.
Presentation
The Cruzader Point is a versatile wave board with incredible glide. This mid-length board is designed for wing foiling only, offering maximum performance, and not just in light wind conditions.
Of course, it performs exceptionally well in light wind, but it also excels in pure freeride and freerace sessions. You’ll enjoy an amazing glide, allowing you to take off early and reduce the size of your foil for maximum performance and sensations.
In pure wave riding sessions, its extremely narrow nose and tail allow limitless surfing in any size of waves. The board is compact, offering maximum reactivity and precision. As an example, the nose and tail width of a 5’4 Cruzader Point with 77L volume is equal to, or slightly less than, that of a best-selling surf foiling board like the Lemon 4’7, which has a volume of 38L.
Although its outline is inspired by downwind SUP boards, it’s fully designed and adapted for wing foiling. For this reason, the Cruzader Point is undoubtedly the queen of boards for those who love carving long offshore swells, whether just cruising or at full speed. Once on the foil, you'll be amazed by its “no nose” design: there’s nothing in front of your feet, making it super responsive.
Available in 5 sizes, from 5’2 to 5’10, with volumes ranging from 67 to 107L, a 75kg intermediate rider would be perfect on the 5’4 with 77L. An expert of the same weight could opt for the 5’2 with 67L.
For those who use "no volume" boards, you’ll find the Cruzader Point to be a great second board, perfect for enjoying light wind days with minimal bulk and uncompromising rail-to-rail performance.
There are dozens of options for centered or offset strap setups, whether for surfing or cruising, and the pad is ideal for strapless riding. With its extra-long fin boxes, the Cruzader Point can adapt to your preferences.
In addition to being stunning, the Cruzader Point is lightweight and very rigid thanks to its ultra-durable FSP PRO construction.
OUTLINE
The narrow mid-length outline at the tips makes for an incredible glide. Which translates into flawless comfort when surfing. The responsiveness underfoot is such that you always feel in total control. The Cruzader Point is simply a high-sensation board, offering a magical glide with minimal bulk in front of the feet.
ROCKER & KICKTAIL
Thanks to a tight rocker, the Cruzader Point's glide is a real advantage in all conditions. You don’t need much sail power and can use smaller foils without effort. To further optimize take-offs in light wind and comfort in rougher conditions, the slight kicktail frees up the hull and reduces contact in steeper waves.
HULL
The flat hull of the Cruzader Point is 100% planing. Water flows optimally, providing maximum glide for ultra-easy and fast take-offs, even with a small foil. You can reduce your front wing by 200cm² while maintaining the same take-off performance.
TAIL
The pin tail of the Point is magical for glide and lift. Combined with its light kicktail, the bulk is reduced to a minimum, and comfort during occasional contact with the water is optimized.
RAILS
Straight and sharp rails at the tail provide more glide for the Cruz Point, much like a windsurf board. The sharpness enhances glide and release, making take-offs easier. In the center, the rails are less vertical, while at the nose, they are very softened in the front third for more comfort while surfing and better glide before flight. You can ride in contact with the water without any sudden braking—perfect for surfing.
NOSE
The pointy nose offers maximum responsiveness and a bit of extra safety in turns, reinforced by the nose bulb that facilitates take-offs and repop.

Buying guide
Who is it for?
The Cruzader Point is designed for experienced riders.
It offers the perfect combination of easy take-off and stylish surfing. Its pointed tips require solid balance, so good experience and fitness are essential.
What is it for?
Its program is broad:
Light wind
Surf, surf, surf
Downwind freefly
Freerace
This board is capable of taking off very early and delivering excellent performance, even in solid conditions.
Which size of board?
With 5 sizes available, the Cruzader Point offers volumes from 67L to 107L. The ideal volume depends, of course, on the rider's preferences and skill level.
For a single board, the rider’s weight (in kg) = the ideal volume (in liters) to achieve both comfort and performance.
Which foil?
The Cruzader Point will be perfect with foils of the H range.
The Curve H: the combo of maneuverability and lift. It is the queen of carving and low end (which doesn’t mean it can’t pick up speed!). It is also the most comfortable for pumping, allowing for numerous connections without burning out your thighs.
The Fluid H: the combo of maneuverability and speed. Perfect for making tight turns, going fast, gliding, and having a very responsive foil. With a very powerful pop added to that, it’s a foil that can truly go anywhere you want, both in the water and in the air!
The Veloce H: the combo of glide, speed, and carves. With these qualities, it is a machine for freeride and long carves, freefly, and downwind. With it, you can glide and connect bumps without limits with unparalleled fluidity. It has a great acceleration capacity on the wave and a low stalling speed, making it easy to fly in all conditions.
The Veloce HDW: 100% glide with a ratio of 13+. Fully focused on endless gliding, the Veloce HDW is the queen of downwind and fast pumping; it also excels in light winds with its infinite acceleration and formidable upwind capability.
The Sirus: Pumping and infinite glide.
Which stabilizer?
Combinations:
Ideally, we recommend pairing a Curve H stabilizer with your Curve H front wing, as these two elements are designed for the same purpose and optimized to work in perfect harmony.
However, you can also tailor your stabilizer choices to your preferences. A Curve stabilizer on a Veloce FW will give you a foil that’s carrying, maneuverable, relatively fast, and has excellent glide. Pair a Fluid stabilizer with the Veloce FW, and you’ll have slightly less maneuverability but much more speed while maintaining a strong front foot. Put a Veloce stabilizer on the Veloce FW, and you'll experience the ultimate glide, with a very smooth feel.
Size:
The ideal size will depend on your board, skill level, weight, spot conditions, and front wing.
We’ve calculated all stabilizer and front wing pairs so that, for example, an M is ideal with an M in all models.
But you can also play with the size:
- A larger size (L for FW M) will give you more front foot support, firmer footing, less liveliness, and reduced speed. It's reassuring but less performance-oriented.
- A smaller size (S for FW M) will offer less stability, more responsiveness, greater acceleration, and more radical performance. Highly effective but somewhat unstable.
Note that instability can also be an advantage—for pop, of course, and for surfing to some extent. The positive side of instability is its reactivity. It's up to you to decide if that’s what you’re aiming for.
