The Board

Inspired by the cool & performance design of the Lemon wing foiling board, this board is extreme in its dimensions but harmonious in its shape.

Its very Lemon shape offers width around the shoulders to favor paddling, while maintaining a very thin tail supported by its wingers. The rails and the tail have very classic bevels making the rails quite thin for a board of a pure and very fluid line.

The Lemon is lively, fluid and yet reassuring. It’s the board for nice sessions, the ones you know you’re going to enjoy because everything will go to plan: early take offs, carves without limits, easy pumping, repop in the tricks and no touchdowns in turns. Perfection!

The foil

The high aspect front wing with the perfect blend of carving, lift and control !

Curve H is, before anything, the same magical rail to rail we know of the regular Curve front wings, but now with an impressive glide and a comfortable lift that make it an accessible high performance wing.

The Curve H is not a front wing for hitting a quick snap : it’s a carver. It has grip and can hold the curves. You feel a sort of constant drive whatever the trajectories, the opposite of a sketchy behavior, and the best reason to push harder into your turns. Add to that the omega curvature that keeps the tips away from the water to avoid any breaching and you get the perfect performance carving front wing to carve harder and harder!

On the wave, you carve hard without losing control thanks to the moderate high aspect that gracefully combines glide and maneuverability. The behavior is always predictable; it naturally rolls from one turn to the other. This moderation makes it a really versatile front wing, perfect for the foiler that wants to discover higher aspect front wings.

The Fluid H stabilizer provides lift that aids in takeoff and in all low-speed situations. The outline is thinner at the tips to allow for perfect rail-to-rail transitions.

Pour qui ?

C’est l’ensemble idéal après un premier set débutant. On pousse beaucoup plus loin tous les curseurs avec cet ensemble, carver, pomper et connecter les vagues devient extrêmement simple.

Quelle taille ?

LA PLANCHE

La 4’2 et ses 25L est stratosphérique. Si vous avez une très bonne rame, un très bon niveau en surf foil et voulez carver sans aucune limite, cette planche est pour vous.
La 4’3 et ses 29L permet à ceux qui ont un niveau technique élevé de repousser davantage les limites de leur radicalité.
La 4’5 et ses 34L est idéale pour progresser sans limite si vous êtes déjà initié au surf foil.
La 4’7 et ses 38L sera confortable à la rame. Elle s’adresse à des personnes initiées au surf foil qui recherchent de la progression et du confort.
La 4’10 et ses 43L sera idéale pour les gabarits costauds fans de courbes.

LE FOIL

Front Wing Curve H:

Les ailes Curve s’adressent à tous les gabarits.

La XS-H fait 68 cm d’envergure, 500 cm2, 1,3 cm d’épaisseur pour un volume de 0,66L.

En surf foil, à moins d’être très léger, elle conviendra avant tout en tow in dans les vagues puissantes.
En wing, elle conviendra aux gabarits légers avec un très bon niveau technique pour sortir dans le vent soutenu.
En kitefoil, cette taille est parfaite pour les riders qui cherchent de la vitesse tout en gardant un excellent contrôle à toutes les allures et dans les courbes.

La S-H fait 77 cm d’envergure, 700 cm2, 1,5 cm d’épaisseur pour un volume de 0,57L.

En surf foil, c’est une petite aile qui conviendra aux légers avec un très bon niveau technique. Elle peut également être utilisée en tow in dans des vagues modérées.
En wing, elle conviendra aux gabarits légers avec un très bon niveau technique ou dans le vent soutenu.
En kite foil, c’est une aile de référence, elle décolle facilement, excellente en carving, tout en ayant une excellente Vmax. Elle conviendra parfaitement à un kite foiler confirmé qui cherche une aile à sortir par tous les temps.

La M-H fait 86 cm d’envergure, 900 cm2, 1,7 cm d’épaisseur pour un volume de 0,8 L.

En surf foil, c’est une aile qui conviendra parfaitement aux gabarits légers, ou pour des plus grands gabarits de bon niveau dans des vagues qui poussent.
En wing, c’est une aile relativement petite, mais qui conviendra aux gabarits légers avec un bon niveau, ou des plus grands gabarits de bon niveau qui la sortiront dans les conditions de vent et de vagues bien établies.
En kite foil : à oublier, c’est trop grand.

La L-H fait 95 cm d’envergure, 1100 cm2, 1,8 cm d’épaisseur pour un volume de 1L.

En surf foil, ce sera une aile centrale dans le quiver d’un bon surf foiler.
En wing, les légers avec un bon niveau en feront leur aile de light. C’est aussi une aile clef pour le downwind.
En kite foil : à oublier, c’est trop grand.

La XL-H fait 105 cm d’envergure, 1300 cm2, 1,9 cm d’épaisseur pour un volume de 1,4 L.

En surf foil, ce sera une aile parfaite pour le petit surf pour un bon surf foiler, et une aile centrale pour les grands gabarits de bon niveau.
En wing, les grands gabarits en feront leur aile de downwind.
En kite foil : à oublier, c’est trop grand.

La XXL-H fait 115 cm d’envergure, 1550 cm2, 2,2 cm d’épaisseur pour un volume de 1,6 L.

En surf foil, c’est une très grande aile qui ira parfaitement aux grands gabarits, c’est une aile parfaite pour exceller en dock start.
En wing, c’est une très bonne aile de light qui ira parfaitement aux grands gabarits, idéale pour les downwinds dans les petites conditions.
En kite foil : à oublier, c’est trop grand.

La 3XL-H fait 125 cm d’envergure, 1850 cm2, 2,4 cm d’épaisseur pour un volume de 2,43 L.

En surf foil, ça commence à être très grand, réservé aux plus lourds qui veulent une aile au pomping ultra efficace.
En SUP foil, c’est une aile top pour les downwinds gentils en Cruzader, ou pour le micro surf.
En wing, c’est une aile pour le très light pour un gabarit moyen.

La 4XL-H fait 145 cm d’envergure, 2150 cm2, 2,4 cm d’épaisseur pour un volume de 2,86 L.

En surf foil, c’est réservé aux sessions orientées pomping, car c’est moins évident de gérer une vague de travers avec cette envergure.
En SUP foil, c’est une aile top pour les downwinds gentils en Cruzader, ou pour le micro surf.
En wing, c’est une aile centrale d’ultra light wind, un combo idéal avec une Cruzader XL ou une HIPE Cruzader pour décupler son nombre de sessions. On garde une maniabilité impressionnante pour cette envergure.

La 5XL-H fait 165 cm d’envergure, 2450 cm2, 2,4 cm d’épaisseur pour un volume de 3,25 L.

En surf foil, c’est trop grand. A réserver aux sessions pomping car elle porte à très faible vitesse, et c’est presque difficile de décrocher !
En SUP foil, c’est une taille qui peut fonctionner dans le petit surf et enchaîner les connexions pour les plus lourds, et très bien pour le flat start pour les gabarits moyens.
En wing, c’est l’aile pour les sessions où le vent est inexistant dans les molles. On décolle avec rien et on peut garder le vol pendant plusieurs minutes juste à la force des jambes.

La 6XL-H fait 185 cm d’envergure, 3100 cm2, 2,7 cm d’épaisseur pour un volume de 4,58 L.

En surf foil, c’est réservé au dock start : même les riders les plus lourds peuvent effectuer des grandes distances sans difficulté de portance !
En SUP foil, plus besoin de vagues, ça rend le décollage à la rame incroyablement simple, même pour les gabarits les plus costauds.
En wing, c’est l’aile qui décollera le plus facilement, mais il faut un bon gabarit pour en avoir vraiment besoin.

Généralité : on utilisera une aile plus grosse dans les plages basses, les conditions molles. Et à l’inverse une aile plus petite dans les conditions musclées. Ce qu’il faut retenir c’est que le choix de votre aile est fonction de votre gabarit qui demande de la portance et de votre vitesse moyenne qui génère de la portance.

Stab Fluid H :

Le 38 cm d’envergure, 180 cm2, 0,5 cm d’épaisseur pour un volume de 0,04L.

En surf foil : pour les petits gabarits dans des vagues habituelles.
En wing : pour les petits gabarits ou très bon niveau et/ou vent fort.
En kite foil : c’est top avec une petite aile avant.

Le 42 cm d’envergure, 220 cm2, 0,5 cm d’épaisseur pour un volume de 0,06L.

En surf foil : pour les gabarits moyens ou pour les costauds dans des vagues puissantes et/ou en tow in.
En wing : pour les gabarits moyens ou bon niveau et/ou vent fort. C’est assez facile.
En kite foil : c’est un peu grand donc très facile.

Le 45 cm d’envergure, 260 cm2, 0,6 cm d’épaisseur pour un volume de 0,07L.

En surf foil : taille polyvalente qui offre à la fois une bonne vitesse et du confort au pumping.
En wing : facile pour tous et idéal dans le light.
En kite foil : c’est grand mais sympa.

Le 47 cm d’envergure, 290 cm2, 0,6 cm d’épaisseur pour un volume de 0,09L.

En surf foil : pour les grands gabarits dans les vagues habituelles.
En wing : facile pour les costauds et/ou idéal dans le très light.
En kite foil : c’est trop grand.

Le 49 cm d’envergure, 310 cm2, 0,6 cm d’épaisseur pour un volume de 0,11L.

En surf foil : c’est grand, réservé aux costauds avec une grande/géante front wing, super pour le pumping.
En wing : facile pour les costauds et/ou parfait dans le très light avec une front wing comme la Sirus par exemple.
En kite foil : c’est trop grand.

En pomping départ dock start ou beach start, nous recommandons ces stabs trèèès techniques comme suit :

Le 38 cm: petit stab technique mais porteur. Vitesse maximale en revanche.
Le 42 cm : facile et polyvalent, avec une grande Vmax et Vmoy.
Le 45 cm : Super compromis portance/Vmax
Le 47 cm : Parfait avec les grandes ailes avant.
Le 49 cm : Parfait pour les grands gabarits avec des grandes ailes avant, ou pour des gabarits moyens avec des grandes front wings comme les Sirus.

En DW, on a tendance à penser que le plus petit est le plus efficace. Avec modération tout de même, surtout avec ce stab haut ratio qui offre peu de surface pour un minimum de trainée.

Ce tableau vous permet d’identifier facilement quel stab pour quel front wing, ou quel stab pour un quiver de plusieurs front wings Curve H.

Mât Alu V2:

Au choix : 55cm, 65cm ou 75cm pour une pratique surf et sup foil..

55cm la taille idéale pour débuter.
65cm la taille standard pour progresser, les petites vagues et les spots avec peu de fond.
75cm pour les niveaux confirmés, le downwind, le tow in surf, le wake et les dock starts.

Delivery delay

We indicate a preparation and shipping time of 3 working days. In reality, the majority of orders are shipped within 24/48 hours.

The delivery time, i.e. delivery time of the package to your home, then depends on the delivery location and the carrier.

We work with reliable and efficient carriers. 99% of shipments go perfectly and quickly. In the case of the remaining 1%, rest assured that we will do what is necessary with the carrier.

Shipping fees

Unlike other sites, shipping costs are not hidden behind the price of our products. You know exactly what shipping costs you, and you are not disadvantaged if you choose to collect your order at our GONG Space Center.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and volume of each package, and your delivery address.

Tracking your package

Delivery tracking is managed directly by the carriers to whom we have entrusted your packages. They will contact you by email or SMS to allow you to choose delivery methods and follow the route of your package.

Carriers

We work with the best transport societies to deliver to you throughout Europe and the world within very short deadlines. We chose them for their quality of service and their compliance with deadlines.

For mainland France, 80% of your orders arrive at their destination in less than 48 hours of processing.

For Europe, delivery times vary from 3 to 6 working days, depending on the country of destination.

For the rest of the world, delivery times depend on transit time and customs clearance time. This delay depends on customs and can last from a few days to a few weeks depending on the destination and seasonality.

Please note, transport time is added to preparation/shipping time. Two companies collaborate on your order (GONG and the carrier). Each one masters its activity and is committed to optimizing its deadlines so that you are delivered as quickly as possible and at a reasonable price.

Warning:

The practice of the sport Foil may expose you to serious injury. A poor mastering of Foil may lead to cut, serious injury and/or including death for you and/or others.

Foil should be practiced by taking into consideration all kite user precautions that are associated with the sport Foil. Remember that a Foil is long, cutting, and reaches high speeds. Getting hit by a Foil, or hitting someone/thing can have dramatic consequences.

Always Foil far from others, in a secure and safe waterscape without obstacles.

Foil is most often practiced in light winds which may cease to blow leading you to return to shore by swimming. As a consequence do not overestimate your your strength/capacity : never go further out than your skill and swimming capacities and wind conditions allow.

Always wear a helmet and life vest for floatation. Always wear a full body wetsuit.

When handling the Foil, be careful not to cut yourself along the edges.

GONG is NOT responsable in case of any and all accidents implicating a Foil GONG. The practice of Foil is undertaken under the complete responsability of the Foil User/Practioner.

DISPUTES AND LIABILITY
GONG-GALAXY cannot be held liable for non-performance of the contract formed, on the one hand due to a force majeure event, as defined by the courts, and on the other hand, in the event of wrongdoing by the client or an unforeseeable and insurmountable act by a third party to the contract. GONG-GALAXY cannot be held liable for consequences resulting from the incorrect use of products sold on the Website.

Although our products have performances that are compatible with professional use, GONG-GALAXY does not intend to sell the professionals.

The danger in sports practised depends in large part in respecting fundamental rules for safety, priorities, and local regulations that are required for spots.

Each user of GONG-GALAXY products is responsible for making sure that he is at least covered by civil liability insurance, if necessary, by purchasing a sports license.

The rules for maintenance, use, and safety are found in the instructions for use delivered with each product. The instructions may also be downloaded by clicking on the following link or from the GONG-GALAXY.COM website. The instructions form an integral part of the scope of this contract, for which it constitutes an exhibit in and of itself. You acknowledge that you have carefully examined it.

Special statement regarding foils products

The practice of foils, in every medium, presents a special hazard. Notwithstanding the contents of the instructions for use of each product, it is imperative that a few simple rules be observed:

Wear a safety vest and a helmet. Foils contain areas of impact that are indispensable for their proper operation, but which present a real danger in the event of a shock. You are most exposed to this risk as a practitioner on the device. You must therefore protect yourself, consequently, using adequate equipment that meets standards. And you must protect yourself by never placing yourself in an at-risk situation. Your behaviour determines the risk you take.
Except for kite surf boards, equip your board, at all times, with a leash that is at least equal to the length of the board, as well as foot straps. These elements make it possible not to completely release the board in the direction of other users. Never move in a distance that is less than the length of your leash plus that of the board plus your centreboard should you fall amongst other practitioners. You must never bring a third party into this diameter which forms the area in which your activity presents risk.
Only practice in spots that are conducive for the activity (secure water entry, lack of shore break, regular bottom, orientation adapted the wind direction, etc.) and not frequented by practitioners of other nautical sports. A foil’s speeds require that the solo practitioner or one amongst multiple foil practitioners move in an environment where each person anticipates and has awareness of the others’ trajectories.
Scrupulously follow the rules of priority, especially since inertia and manoeuvrability are different from traditional media, above all for beginners. Courtesy and the sense of responsibility must be part of your practice so as not to create deviant behaviour that might lead to an accident.
Pay attention to the other practitioners, and generally speaking, to all users of the water body, even if they do not have priority in your area of movement (they may, among other things, underestimate your speed and your danger zone). Never practice around children or people who are unfamiliar with the sport, as their reactions might be completely unpredictable. You would be fully liable. GONG SUP will do everything in its power to alert you to the risks and explain to you the practical framework that we recommend. You cannot ignore these instructions as this would endanger you and everyone else, and jeopardize the GONG SUP brand which is a responsible company.
Pay attention to the water depth, since the presence of an appendage with several tens of centimetres below a beach vehicle is a new data point for a good number of practitioners, even those familiar with watersports. Breakage associated with pressure against or striking the bottom is not covered by the warranty.
Maintain and check your equipment regularly, and make no technical modification to it other than products and solutions sold by GONG-GALAXY. Never sharpen the trailing edges, as they would become cutting both for you and for the leash, thereby no longer holding onto the board!

It is highly recommended that you begin foil practice in an appropriate pedagogical setting, by means of an accredited club or school, that you read all of her articles on the GONG forum. This is to allow you to acquire an appropriate level of self-sufficiency and a real knowledge of the stakes in the practice of foil.
