The ends of the struts are thin, which makes the touches with the water almost painless. The overall shape of the wing really allows it to stand on its own in a neutral position without any effort. In 5m² it is really appreciable. In 3m² it is a real toy. I let go of it while surfing the swell: it flew on its own at the end of the leash! The mini-battens allow the spinnaker fabric to hardly ever flap.

“The rigidity is there”

By inflating with the “knock” sound and the “T” of the leading edge which bends slightly, it is perfect. It gives you all the power you need to pump to get started and then go upwind. What’s more, I have the impression that it absorbs gusts well: thanks to its maneuverability and lightness, it can easily be set at 45 °.

In short, we do not have our arms torn off in the inevitable moments when we are overpowered (gusts, rising wind …).

Small windows are for me the best compromise when it comes to lightness. By moving the wing a little, we have a good vision of what is happening next to us, especially if we already have an idea of ​​the position of the rider / buddy who is accompanying us.
