While a noserider like the Frank focuses on extended nose riding and the Hyperdrive excels as a high-performance longboard, the Moodgun takes a different approach. It’s built for total control and extreme maneuverability, excelling in tight, aggressive turns and committed lines.

The Moodgun is designed to harness the wave’s power, enabling a technical and committed style of surfing. Its gunny shape, featuring a narrower outline and refined tips, ensures solid hold in waves where a traditional longboard would feel bulky.

Sitting between a longboard and a gun, it’s the perfect choice for those who want to charge heavy waves with control and confidence without jumping straight into a pure big-wave shape.

Why only one size?

What are the ideal waves?

The Moodgun is designed for solid and demanding conditions.

It truly shines in waves from 1m to 2.50m and above, where a traditional longboard would be difficult to control. Its streamlined outline and pronounced rocker enable solid commitment, keeping speed and hold even in critical sections, making it perfect for:

• Hollow reef breaks where quick take-offs and holding the line are crucial.

• Heavy beach breaks where speed and agility make all the difference.

• Rapid point breaks where mastering turns is essential to fully capitalize on a long, powerful wave.

It can still work in mellower conditions for surfers seeking precise control in a technical approach, but it’s in heavy waves that it really shines.

That said, be mindful not to snap it in half. Solid longboarding conditions inevitably lead to breakage at some point—that’s the game, even with top-tier technology.

Which fin setup?

The Moodgun comes in a 2+1 setup, featuring a US Box center fin and two FCS II side fins, providing an optimal balance of grip, maneuverability, and speed.

• A 2+1 setup with a 7’’ to 8’’ center fin and FCS II side fins offers an excellent mix of control and drive. This setup ensures perfect grip on fast lines while maintaining great maneuverability in tight turns.
• Opting for a smaller center fin (6’’ to 7’’) with strong side fins makes the board more reactive and playful, ideal for explosive maneuvers.
• In a pure trifin setup, the focus shifts to vivacity and acceleration, making the board even more playful and radical for airs, 360s, helicopters, and other progressive maneuvers.
• A single fin with a larger 9’’ to 10’’ center fin offers more control and flow for extended lines but will trade off speed and snap in tighter turns.

Each board is fitted with a leash plug, two FCS II side boxes, and a US Box center fin slot for a high-performance setup. The package includes:

• 1 GONG Full Fiber 7″ (180mm) center fin (US Box).

• 2 FCS II Glass Flex side fins.

• 1 reinforced center US Box.

• 2 FCS II fin boxes.

• Concrete Fixed plug at the tail to ensure you never lose your board.

Delivery delay

We indicate a preparation and shipping time of 3 working days. In reality, the majority of orders are shipped within 24/48 hours.

The delivery time, i.e. delivery time of the package to your home, then depends on the delivery location and the carrier.

We work with reliable and efficient carriers. 99% of shipments go perfectly and quickly. In the case of the remaining 1%, rest assured that we will do what is necessary with the carrier.

Shipping fees

Unlike other sites, shipping costs are not hidden behind the price of our products. You know exactly what shipping costs you, and you are not disadvantaged if you choose to collect your order at our GONG Space Center.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and volume of each package, and your delivery address.

Tracking your package

Delivery tracking is managed directly by the carriers to whom we have entrusted your packages. They will contact you by email or SMS to allow you to choose delivery methods and follow the route of your package.

Carriers

We work with the best transport societies to deliver to you throughout Europe and the world within very short deadlines. We chose them for their quality of service and their compliance with deadlines.

For mainland France, 80% of your orders arrive at their destination in less than 48 hours of processing.

For Europe, delivery times vary from 3 to 6 working days, depending on the country of destination.

For the rest of the world, delivery times depend on transit time and customs clearance time. This delay depends on customs and can last from a few days to a few weeks depending on the destination and seasonality.

Please note, transport time is added to preparation/shipping time. Two companies collaborate on your order (GONG and the carrier). Each one masters its activity and is committed to optimizing its deadlines so that you are delivered as quickly as possible and at a reasonable price.

Final packaging in high-end cardboard.

Receipt of your product

Upon delivery, check the condition of your package in the presence of the carrier. A complete explanation email on the procedure to follow will be sent to you when your order is shipped.

Despite our requirements and all the care we take in the packaging and protection of your product, transport hazards may occur, and your product may suffer more or less significant transport damage.

Note that the products are protected in their carton. If you have any doubts, simply refuse delivery and contact us.
