It’s no coincidence that we include the Plus in our beginners packs. It is simply the most “beginner-friendly” of the range as we can read in this feedback left on our Facebook Group.

“3rd session with the Plus 5m 2023 and I experienced nothing but joy. Here’s just a few words to share my experience. A month ago I bought the Neutra 4.5 2023 and after a few sessions I felt it was not great for me!! My level: beginner ++ (first lessons in September and since then I had about 25 hours of sessions) I found the Neutra a little too physical for me, it woke up my tendonitis (I sail without a harness). It’s certainly a great wing (given the comments) but at my level I don’t feel it. After several pieces of advice (thank you Yohann Roussel and the GONG team) and realizing that I was still a beginner I switched to the Plus 5m 2023.

It takes off with 1 or 2 pumping strokes even in the low end. Unbelievable!

This wing is a killer really! It takes off with 1 or 2 pumping strokes even in the low end. Unbelievable! I took off at 15 knots and held on to it in 25 knots with no problem. It is super comfortable in gusts. No pain in the arms with 3 sessions of 2h30 each! Jibes were fluid and easy. I made them all whereas before it was kind of sketchy. Well, the switch of feet is not at 100% yet but the Wing has nothing to do with it. ? On the jumps it carries less than the Neutra but it is very decent, enough to have fun ?? … I find this wing to be very smooth, I really enjoyed it! It will allow me to progress well, that’s for sure…
