NEWS: THE NEW ALU ALLVATOR V2 MAST IS ONLINE !!!

Version 2 of our Alu Allvator mast is now online as well as all the spare parts to compose a complete foil or upgrade your current foil. This new version benefits from a new shape, new sizes and a new connection system for rigidity worthy of a monobloc foil, while remaining dismountable!

NEW CONNECTION SYSTEM: MAST FUSELAGE CONNECTOR

This new intermediary aluminium piece between the fuselage and the mast has been designed to strengthen and remove movement when connected. Firstly a conic shape at the base which will fit into the fuselage. Therefore the pressure of usage reinforces the clamping for a perfect congruence under load. This adaptor fits by 6cm in the mast, perfectly fitting into the new internal mast structure. It makes it very strong and a lot stiffer.

New sizes: 55, 65, 75, 85 and 95 cm

The new mast is available in 5 sizes to perfectly cover all foiling disciplines and to match the level and program of each practitioner. Here is an overview of the dedicated programs for each size:

55 cm for beginners in Surf, SUP, Wake
65 cm to use for Surf or SUP, or to being in Kite and Wing.
75 cm to Surf or SUP with a high level, Downwind, towing in Surf, Wake, Dock Starts.
85 cm for moves and surfing in Wing or in Kite
95 cm to freeride/freerace in Wing or in Kite.

More efficient shape

The new profile we have worked on, is now in the shape of a tear-drop, and has a larger chord to optimise the hydrodynamics and limit the drag. This increase in the speed is very significant, just like the noise reduction.

This evolution has allowed us to avoid the mast twist phenomenon and offer increased sensations while navigating. It is so strong that when you first take your turns it is surprising. When taking a curve, the reaction is instant. You don’t have the board turning, while the foil keeps going straight and the mast keeps its direction: the reaction is instant.

The profile is slightly thicker to make it stronger and allow a direct and precise steering which will surprise you even in very sharp turns with a long mast. This increased strength will allow you to be more efficient when you pump as well as when you surf as you will gain a more precise feel of the foil. No effects coming out and troubling the steering. Very precise.

Compatibility

The new mast shape is compatible only with the Allvator V2 Fuselage and the Allvator V2 Plate. For a complete upgrade of your foil, a set consisting of 2 versions of the mast, the plate, the fuselage, the Mast Fuselage Connector with the screws kit is available. Your Surf/SUP front wings and all your GONG stab will be compatible with the V2 fuselage.
