NEWS: FAMILY TRIP ALONG THE WATER FLOW!

Four adventurers left the GONG surf shop at the beginning of July with a motorhome loaded with gear for a family trip to the Scandinavian countries.

This is bound to be a memorable trip in which they’ll follow the flow of the water, in SUP, wing foiling and even in surfing for the youngest of the family. We can’t wait to discover the northern landscapes through the eyes of these boardsports enthusiasts. Follow their adventures which are relayed almost daily on the GONG Galaxy Group.

By way of introduction, Adrien shares a few words about the start of their trip:

SUPers: Valentine and Jules after a ride with the Chip 8’0 and Couine Marie Allround 10’6.

“Hi all,

We are the Blanchy family, Adrien, Valérie, Valentine and Jules alias Quatre.en.baroude and new to the GONG family. For 3 years now we have turned family trips into a way of life, and as we like to say, along the water flow. We will use the GONG Facebook group to give you regular updates on our adventures. You can also follow us on Insta with the same profile name.

Even if water is our common thread, our road trips are not limited to that. So don’t be surprised if you see some more earthly stories and photos. Since July 8, when we were at the GONG shop to pick up our equipment, we have been on the road to the Nordic countries. After joining Norway by crossing France, Belgium, Germany, Holland, Denmark and Sweden, we are currently finishing our ascent from Lofoten. We will be in Tromsø tonight. The objective of this trip is to climb to the North Cape and then return through Finland and Sweden.
