FEEDBACK : GONG KITE STRUTLESS V3 !!!

“For those who may be interested, here are my thoughts after a first use of a GONG Strutless 10m. With a Foil, 8 knots at the beginning of the session and, 16 knots towards the end. For starters, the Kite is beautiful in the air, I love the color. In 8 knots, I fly without any problem, the Kite gains power progressively. I enjoyed it for about 1 hour, nothing negative to say, the Kite flies in nothing, it is very safe. After about an hour I Hindenberged it in the water on a failed Downloop. There must have been at least dozen knots, immediate relaunch in reverse, easy. Enjoyable! At the end of the session, the wind rose to more than 15 knots, and while I was heading upwind, and creating more than apparent wind, the Kite flapped quite a bit I think, unless trimmed, but in these cases it must be held tight. .. I did not put in the Center Batten which must obviously improve this problem. So to conclude, I do not think there is much better out there for the light … On the other hand I was surprised at the 1st takeoff of the Kite with a bar from another brand, the back lines were too long (or the fronts too short), suddenly no maneuverability. I had to put her down, make 1 knot just above the splice of the back and it was perfect then!
