NEWS : CUSTOMIZE YOUR CHICKEN LOOP

Adapt your kite bar to your style of navigation thanks to our chickenloops XS, S and L! Compatible with all GONG kite bars as well as those equipped with an AKA 1, 2 or 3 certified quick release, our chicken loops ensure the best possible control of your kite with top-notch safety.

   

Kitesurfing requires fine and precise piloting. We each have our habits and personal preferences. Among the elements that determine the finesse of your sensations, the chicken loop holds a key place because it is the single point of attachment between the rider and the kite. Depending on your practice, it should be more or less easily unhooked, keep your bar at the right distance or slide efficiently on a sliding rope harness.

The chicken loop is available in 3 sizes:

  • Size XS: the chicken loop for riders equipped with a sliding rope harness. Ideal for kite surfing in the waves and for kite foiling! The chicken loop slides on the harness which guarantees a real gain in comfort during your wave sessions! Please note, this chicken loop is not equipped with a locking tube and cannot be used with a harness equipped with a classic hook. A friction ring can be added in the chicken loop to prevent wear on the harness rope.
  • Size S: the traditional chicken loop with a small diameter loop to meet the expectations of waveriders, foilers, but also the smallest kiters because this chicken brings the bar closer to your body.
  • Size L: chicken loop equipped with a loop with a large diameter to satisfy committed freestylers who can hook and unhook easily.
 

This chicken loop is easily mounted using an Allen key (not supplied) on all bars equipped with AKA1, AKA2 or AKA 3 quick release systems, so all GONG bars. This standard, which complies with the AFNOR standard, guarantees the best possible security. Each chicken loop consists of the following elements:

  • A loop of different sizes according to your choice (XS / S / L).
  • The black sheath to protect the loop and have the locking tube there.
  • The locking tube (except for the chickenloop in size XS which only works with a sliding rope harness).
