Here is some sound advice for a water start on your Kite Foil
Step 1
Position the Kite in the zenith to facilitate putting your feet in the foot straps of the Board. Send the Kite in to 2 or 10 O’clock as you would for a classic water start.
Step 2
As you send the Kite, put some light pressure on the Bar, this will help you lift yourself up.
Step 3
Push on the Board while keeping crouched.
Step 4
Your body weight should be over the front foot to facilitate the take off and for keeping the Board solidly on the water.
Step 5
Once up, let your Board pick up some speed, heading slightly downwind and by subtly jockeying the Kite towards 1 or 11 O’clock.
Step 6
With speed the Foil will rise by himself. If not push slightly on the back foot to bring him up.
Step 7
There you go, you’re flying. Now all you got to do is weave the spot.
