HOW TO : tie down your board !!!

In response to a question on the forum that many are asking but not dare to ask, « l’Ours » gives us some tips to properly strap an inflatable board on roof racks:
Hello,
If you are cautious, all good.
You will need to pay attention to the following points:
1/ Inflate well so you will not lose the board while driving.
2/ Do not tighten the straps on a collage by applying a friction that will lift up the piece of your board (same for the pads on rigid boards)
3/ Do not tighten the straps too much otherwise they are going to print in the board’s PVC (same for the rigid boards).
With these tips everything should be fine.
Note: Take all precautions related the use of roof racks: straps in good condition, never bungee cord, double U straps, spanner rench after the tightening in, the racks firmly attached to the car, reasonable speed, etc… Advisor : Patrice Guénolé et GONG Surfboards.
