Our Couine Marie range offers a wide choice of Boards to satisfy everyone’s needs. Practical and top-of-the-range inflatable boards to share good times with the family. Laurent-Claude shares with us her return after having descended the Laïta with her family with two 12’6 Couine Marie Cruising:

“Test of the GONG Couine Marie 12’6 Cruising.

First contact with the bag, hyper quality, with solid zippers, comfortable handles and the little extra really top, the wheels as on travel bags! So even children can carry the bag.

The Board inflates quite quickly with the good quality pump supplied with the Board. To go up to 20 psi you need a little bit of strength. I use for my part an electric inflator (I’m getting lazy in my fifties).

On the water the Board is very stable, even with a child sitting in front. The row effect is not very present with the race type fin provided. The fin is mounted without tools and is well fixed in its US Box.

Bungees allow you to attach a waterproof bag, practical for day hikes. The speed of movement is very correct if the Board is well inflated because of the rigidity.

We went down the Laïta (17km) with a child and bag in front. The handles on the float are very pleasant and well positioned. A towing ring makes it possible to secure the sups during a picnic stop on a buoy for example. Once the ride is over, it’s handy to be able to store the two 12’6″ in a trunk!
