JOBS: HOST/HOSTESS

Become a host/hostess for the brand new GONG Space Center and join a dynamic and fast growing team! We are looking for several persons to host and welcome visitors in our board sports temple.

You’ll be the first smile of our GONG Space Center, a place dedicated to our passions, our travels, our creations and representing our DNA. This new work environment includes shaping rooms, a one-of-a-kind surf shop, a restaurant-bar, a fitness room, after sesh shower rooms, our design offices, an R&D test center, the Pro Team home base, the photo/video studio, logistics and much more.

Within this unique environment, you will be the friendly host that guides visitors towards the fitting technical advisor so they can fully enjoy this place filled with watersports enthusiasts, whether pros or beginners. With an impeccable shop experience, you let them have an amazing moment with us.

At GONG, we only sell direct. The GONG Space Center is therefore the only physical shop for GONG products in the world. The customer’s experience must be flawless!

To make the customer’s visit the most enjoyable it can be, we need a dynamic and friendly person to take care of our customers as soon as they enter the shop and to guide them towards the fitting technical advisor. The receptionist will sometimes be in charge of payment collection or helping customers with the withdrawal of orders. No need to be a champion of our sports, you just need to be comfortable with people and to feel at home in the middle of our toys and talks about weather forecasts!

The host/hostess:

• Informs and guides our customers within our shop.
• Welcomes them at the checkout and is involved in the sale of products.
• Helps the store look good.

The candidate for the position:

• Is naturally a friendly, communicative and smiling person
• Masters english, especially at oral communication and is ideally bilingual.
• Has a hosting or encashment experience
• Shares our passion for board sports ?
