HOW TO : RE-ENTRY !!!

The re-entry is a common move. The thing is to do a curve close to a roller but over the white water that comes in front of you. This move permits you to finish the wave with style or to pass this white water to connect the section. The best is to do it full speed but usually it is not the situation. If the wave is slow, the foam will be slower. So you have to choose the best line to make this re-entry perfect. If the wave is powerful you can search a kind of vertical, but if the wave is slow you just can go over the foam carefully. The keys of the re entry are: – be fast, as much as possible. – bend the knees to keep the best balance. – use the paddle when you cross the foam to increase the impact/speed. – the bottom of your board must face the lip and the foam, never the rail. – manage the best line regarding to the power of the wave. – stay strong but not too much in order to manage the bumps on the foam. – go faster and yes you will do a air.
