HOW TO : CHOOSE YOUR SUP BOARD PART 6 !!!

How to choose your board ? – The Volume : Buoyancy is a known fact thanks to a certain Archi …(learn your Greek history…). But the experience in SUP shows that we are constantly making small mistakes that put a burden on buoyancy. The body of water is rarely perfect and every surface defect also effects the buoyancy. The rule is that to float the absolute value of the volume is greater than the sum of the VA of the weight of the SUPer and the weight of the board. It is advisable to take a good 10L more than this rule for the advanced and a good 20L more for the experienced ones. For beginners : 40L minimum of extra volume. Note nevertheless that the water on the Board stabilizes it a lot. Also note that a large width erases errors. These two elements make it possible to take the minimum of volume for oneself. In brief, get in touch with real connoisseurs, passionate people. Run from commercial charlatans, gadgets and miracle solutions. A real Shaper needs none of that to sell his creations. Shaper : Patrice Guénolé and GONG-GALAXY.
