THE HOOD

When the water temperature drops below 10°, putting on a Hood becomes almost an obligation. Keeping your head warm will limit the shivering effect when you wait for the waves, but also the ice cream headache that you feel after several duck dives.

Billabong offers a Hood with an innovative and functional material called graphene that’s integrated in the lining of this Hood. The Carbon Fibres covered with this lightweight, thermal graphene trap body heat even more effectively. Its weave allows the Hood to stretch easily for quick entry while reducing water absorption, for unparalleled quick-drying properties.

Vissla offers a 3mm thick Hood. Equipped with a Duramax Super Stretch Neoprene, it is light and very stretchy, which makes it very easy to put on. The advantage of Duramax Neoprene is that it is very comfortable and provides effective protection from water and wind.

Its thermal lining retains maximum warmth.

THE GLOVES

In the majority of Board sports, hands are put to the test. Gloves are perfect to keep your hands warm and avoid freezing.

BILLABONG GLOVES 5 FINGERS 2MM ABSOLUTE

Excellent value for money. Easy to put on, these Gloves are lined with an ultra soft thermal silk that increases warmth but also flexibility. You can move your fingers without any problem. The outer material, “smooth skin”, allows you to keep grip during take-off.

These Gloves provide optimal protection. Like its Hood, Billabong has equipped its Gloves with graphene, offering excellent thermal retention. The full graphene lining traps body heat efficiently and for a long time.

Here are Gloves designed for surfers who don’t like to wear them. Its low thickness of 1.5mm allows to keep a very good flexibility and not to feel compressed inside. The Duramax outer material offers very good wind protection.

Its full thermal lining retains body heat and ensures quick drying. Ideal at the beginning or end of the winter season, in water between 11 and 14° C.

VISSLA GLOVES SEVEN SEAS 5 FINGERS 3MM

This pair of Gloves is ideal for your winter sessions. Its thickness of 3mm and its total lining ensure a very good thermal insulation. The Duramax outer material offers a very good wind resistance.

The palm is covered with silicone to ensure a total grip, especially during the take-off phase.

These Gloves offer optimal protection in water temperatures from 8 to 14° C.

THE BOOTIES

Just like Gloves, Booties quickly become indispensable when the water is close to 10°. At GONG, you will find booties in 3mm and 5mm thickness, very comfortable to keep your feet warm.

Made of a very light material and a Furnace coating, these Booties guarantee minimum weight and high thermal retention. Its Furnace Quick Dry lining, in double jersey, creates air pockets that trap body heat, allowing water to escape and drying out quickly.

The interior is equipped with an ultra-lightweight shape memory material made from recycled tires.

The soles are vulcanized for durability.

Top-of-the-range, comfortable and efficient Booties for mid-season and winter use. These Furnace Carbon Ultra Booties are equipped with a thin sole to keep a maximum of sensations in surfing. The Furnace Carbon lining covers the boot 100% for maximum warmth and contained weight.

Its shape memory structure, made from recycled tires, offers very good elasticity and excellent thermal retention. Booties for mid-season and winter use in water between 9 and 14°. Featuring 100% Super Stretch Neoprene : lighter, warmer, and stretchy to make it easier to put on and take off.

Equipped with a thermal lining, heat is efficiently retained and drying is fast. The thin softgrip sole allows you to maintain excellent surfing sensations. The strapless compression panels provide effective support for your feet without having to use a velcro strap, which can be uncomfortable for some people. The sole is full at the separation between the big toe and the other to prevent the leash cord from getting stuck.
