The compact 100% strapless board for kite foiling and pumping.
The Kiwii HDCC has been specifically designed for strapless kite foiling. In kite foiling it can do it all, Freeride, Strapless Freestyle or Wave Riding. It is aimed at experienced to expert riders, who are looking for THE magic carpet:
In the air, its super short format makes it invisible. This feeling of Flying then takes on its full meaning. The Kiwii slips totally off your mind. You can see the water flowing at full speed under your feet in a magical silence. Quite an addictive feeling.
In tricks, this feeling of not having a board underfoot is increased by its lightness, its rigidity and by its flat deck which offers an almost direct contact between the feet and the foil. No latency on the impulses of your feet: the response in the maneuvers is immediate and instinctive.
In freestyle, you will love its lightness. Its refined rails will allow you an easy grip to send grabbed airs. You will feel confident on landings because it can absorb everything.
The new HDCC construction of the KIWII provides extreme rigidity. The slightest of your intention is transmitted with incredible responsiveness. This 100% carbon prepreg molded techno allows us to refine the board without compromising its rigidity. The multiple stringers and 100% carbon boxes also provide an ultimate barrier against flex and breakage.
The connection is direct with your foil. Results:
It is available in a single size of 3’5 for 9.5L. As soon as you have the level to ride a Kiwii, the volume doesn't matter.
Note that this size is ideal for traveling. A major advantage when you like to travel light. A Kiwii with two Strutless and you have the lightest quiver.
Its outline is very rounded at the nose. Its largely chamfered rails are thin and soft. These characteristics, combined with its compactness, allow you to sail on all angles and link incisive turns together while minimizing touchdowns. Endless carves are all yours!

Large rounded square nose to have more front foot surface, with a very marked double concave underneath which makes it easier to manage touchdowns in choppy conditions even with a lot of lean angle. It also provides added rigidity.

A rounded square tail that’s narrower than the nose for immediate planing and control in chop without losing speed in the event of a touchdown.

Flat deck for control and steering precision.

Wide, flat beveled hull at the tail then double significant concave for more control when touching down.

The rails are thin and soft, but with a light, discreet sidewall that optimizes rigidity and resistance to possible impacts.
With its super compact format, you only keep the essentials under your feet.
In Freestyle, the feet find their place instinctively.
In Freeride, the board is invisible. You are directly connected to the elements. You are just flying on water.
The ultimate pocket board.
The Kiwii also allows a dock/beachstart use.
Here again, it excels thanks to its compact format and its technology.
The extreme rigidity obtained by the HDCC construction ensures that you transmit the effort to your foil immediately with each pumping stroke.
Zero loss of energy or power. No more touchdowns due to too bulky a format.
With a Kiwii HDCC set up, giant wing (Sirus, Curve H and Fluid H) and HM mast, you are guaranteed to have a super rigid and efficient combo.
Resistance and Durability:
High temperature molding provides a better bond between fibers and resin, increasing mechanical strength and durability under high stresses. The mechanical properties of the board remain stable even when exposed to high temperatures.
Lightness and responsiveness:
The full carbon prepreg lamination allows homogeneous and optimized distribution of the resin. All excess weight is removed without compromising strength. The boards are thus lighter and more efficient.
Precision:
Molds allow parts to be manufactured with ultra-precise tolerances. This improves the aerodynamics and hydrodynamics of the products.
High Density foam blank:
The foam blank used is an extremely expensive and efficient hydrophobic material used in aeronautics. It provides exceptional structural rigidity and longevity while maintaining a light weight.
Zero waste:
Unlike manual lamination which can result in excess resin and fiber, in-molded manufacturing optimizes material usage, minimizing waste and reducing the environmental footprint of production.
Low price:
The lower price compared to this exceptional technology is due to the efficiency of construction. Less human labor (about a quarter) equals lower expenses. Simply, with this board, you're primarily investing in well-assembled premium materials.
These boards have the high-performance HDCC (High Density Core & Carbon) technology. The manufacturing process is akin to that of a foil wing. The board is manufactured from aerospace-grade prepreg carbon fiber and a high-density foam core with mechanical properties that ensure structural cohesion and hydrophobicity in case of damage.
In a nutshell, it’s strong, stiff, and very lightweight
Industry-standard prepreg carbon fibers are positioned on the high-density foam core. Carbon H-stringers and full prepreg boxes are also placed before compression in a steel mold heated to 155°C to polymerize the resin. Mold pressure combined with high temperature ensures perfect layer cohesion to guarantee exemplary performance and durability.
Subsequently, the board is extracted from the mold. Board logos are applied. A thin layer of matte varnish is then applied to protect the board. The pad is glued, and the board is ready to ride!
This technology involves no sanding, hence no production waste. There's no sanding of the shape as it's molded, no sanding of the laminations which are pressed and fused, and no sanding of the hot coats which are integrated directly into the molding process. It's extremely costly to implement but the result is impeccably clean.
All our prototyping phases are tested on our own test benches. HDCC boards easily pass resistance tests with loads exceeding several hundred kilograms on the front foot.
The lower price compared to this exceptional technology is due to the efficiency of construction. Less human labor (about a quarter) equals lower expenses. Simply, with this board, you're primarily investing in well-assembled premium materials.
At GONG, our boards are top-of-the-line. Our competitive pricing is only possible due to direct sales, which eliminate intermediary markups. If, unfortunately, you break them, they are fully repairable with components we keep in stock for your favourite shape.

Buying guide
Strapless kite foiling requires perfect control of flight and maneuvers. They are therefore aimed at riders of a good to expert level.
For Pumping sessions, the Kiwiii HDCC boards are ideal whether you are a beginner or an expert.
If you’re 100% strapless oriented, and want a pocket board to reel off tacks, jibes and other tricks, then the Kiwii is made for you.
If you’re looking for the perfect dockstart pumping board that also works for kitefoiling, look no further. The Kiwii is the board you want for the job.
And if you like to travel light, this is a perfect board.
The Kiwii HDCC will work perfectly in kite foiling with:
In general, we recommend stabs with a very small surface such as a Fluid 38 for example.
You can also choose to switch to a Freestyle stab for their shorter fuselage which promotes responsiveness by reducing the radius of curves. Or conversely take the easy road to performance with the Curve stab in a small size.
The must is to upgrade this foil with a 100cm Carbon V2 mast or an HM92 mast.
For pumping sessions:
The Kiwii HDCC is fabulous with a Strutless to perform in winds below 20 knots. This kite is close to a race kite above 11m2 for its ratio and aptitudes, but with the safety of an inflatable structure. It flies in nothing and holds crazy upwind courses, yet it’s a very maneuverable kite too. Perfect.
But the Kiwii HDCC is also a good match for the Unik which will bring a lot of maneuverability to link manoeuvers for example.

Equipments
The Kiwii FSP Pro boards are equipped with our high-end 5mm thick Ridge Traction Pad. The Hard Brush surface treatment provides a firm grip. Besides, the comfort is unequaled because the entire surface of the foot is in contact with the pad. Unlike a pad with large reliefs, the grip is made by an infinity of micro reliefs, hence this “velvet” contact. This new one-piece pad covers the entire useful surface of the deck. It exempts you from waxing your board. And it avoids small angles that could end up peeling off.

Need to switch between kitefoil and beachstart sessions? Double-entry US rails and SCS nuts for foil attachment let you change masts in 2 turns of the key.

With the SCS nuts connected by the composite rods, the nuts on the top plate are automatically perfectly set. You just need to position the top plate over the 4 entries, insert the nuts all at once, slide the foil back to the chosen position and in two turns of the key per screw the foil is mounted. The GONG double entry box facilitates the assembly and adjustment of the foil!
Performance without the hassle. When dismantling the foil, you can leave the nuts and the screws on the top plate, just loosen the screws, remove the foil and off you go!
It is the plug and play solution which facilitates adjustments
