Madame Hubert fits naturally into the GONG universe through an artistic vision deeply inspired by the ocean, nature and surf culture. Behind the brand are Pauline and Yann, a duo of French artists based in Saint-Jean-de-Luz in south-west France.

Their meeting in 2015 gave rise to a graphic world shaped by their surroundings. Beaches, waves, surfing, skateboarding and coastal landscapes all become sources of inspiration for creations that reinterpret the atmosphere and iconic objects of board-sport culture in their own way.

Madame Hubert develops a collection dedicated in particular to surfing and skateboarding. The duo's approach is not simply to depict this world: each drawing seeks to highlight the details, textures, volumes and movement that give the objects and scenes their identity.

The works are drawn by hand with meticulous ink work. This process allows Pauline and Yann to develop a highly detailed style in which light and shadow play an important role. Boards, vehicles and references to the ocean become genuine artistic subjects.

Based in south-west France, Madame Hubert promotes local, artisanal production. The original artworks are used in particular to create posters printed on quality fine-art papers, with manufacturing carried out in France and prints produced under the Imprim'Vert environmental label.
