All brands - Phix Doctor

Phix Doctor develops resins and complete kits for repairing impacts, cracks and small dents on surfboards, SUPs and skimboards. Its solutions help quickly stop water ingress and restore a clean, durable surface.

The brand's experience dates back to 1983, when founder Tony Gowen began making repair kits for surf shops in Haleiwa, Hawaii. Today Phix Doctor offers riders practical solutions for maintaining their equipment and extending its service life.

Before any repair, it is essential to identify the board's construction. Polyester resin, for example, should never be applied directly to EPS foam. Phix Doctor offers different formulas for polyester boards, epoxy constructions with EPS foam and softboards.

SunPowered Universal resin is compatible with epoxy and polyester constructions as well as EPS and PU foam. This versatility makes it a practical solution for repairing a surfboard, SUP or skimboard while reducing the risk of using an incompatible product.

Phix Doctor repair kits bring together the items needed to treat different types of damage. Depending on the version, they may include resin, fibreglass, Q-Cell for filling deeper areas, sandpaper and various repair accessories.

SunPowered resins cure under sunlight or a UV lamp, allowing a quick repair after application. Major structural damage, such as a snapped board or a torn-out fin box, should however be handled by a professional repairer.

At GONG, discover Phix Doctor solutions for quickly repairing your board, limiting water ingress and preventing a small ding from ending your session or surf trip.
