Kluber: The ultimate pumping board

The Kluber was designed to offer maximum efficiency in flight. Its very low rocker. The tail is perfectly flat and the nose has just the right amount of lift: as a result, the board is comfortable and very efficient, from the first dockstart to long sequences when you really start to keep up the pace.

The Trail is the ideal foil for discovering and perfecting pumping. Its generous profile ensures record lift and great tolerance, allowing you to fly with disconcerting ease from the first sessions. Stable and predictable, it eliminates unexpected dropouts and allows you to maintain a low and comfortable speed, ideal for learning without forcing your cardio.

The elliptical shape of the forehead wing gives it natural handling, making downforce corrections intuitive and turns fluid. Whether for a dock start or a flat start, the Trail simplifies each phase of flight by minimizing the effort necessary to maintain flight.

FRONT WING & STAB

The Trail has a ratio of 9.4, very consistent for discovering dockstart and pumping. It provides a good level of glide, without making the wing too fast or too technical to control.

This ratio gives enough efficiency to cover distance, but maintains strong lift at low speed. This is exactly what you need to learn: the foil must carry early, stay in flight for a long time and give time to correct.

The Trail is not an extreme wing. It does not seek to maximize speed or high range. Its ratio is chosen to create a wing that is easy to launch, easy to pump, easy to catch and efficient enough to progress quickly.

The 7.7 ratio of the Trail stab offers an excellent mix between hydrodynamic performance, low speed support and pumping control.

Its elliptical outline is lightly pinched at the tips, very round, designed to align the thrust of each impulse in a forward-oriented logic. With each oscillation, the foil more efficiently transforms the rider's energy into useful movement.

The feeling is free, effective and very readable. We keep a stab which helps to find a regular cadence, without making the foil physical or difficult to hold.

It's not just a widened version of the 17 mm mast, but a profile in its own right that meets a specific set of requirements: ensuring greater rigidity while keeping exceptional glide for demanding disciplines.

A more efficient foil shape

One of the key elements in the evolution of this range is the complete redesign of our foils to increase their structural and hydrodynamic qualities.

The V3 fuselage is:

The new round shape allows a 12% gain in glide and the thicker section approaching the stab increases the strength and rigidity of the foil.

Hours of calculations on extremely powerful computers have allowed us to optimize the smallest detail to maximize performance. The fillets of all our connections have been carefully studied and adjusted to minimize hydrodynamic disturbances and increase the rigidity and resistance of the assembly.

SuperLock Self-Locking System

The V3 SuperLock self-locking connection has been engineered to ensure a perfect fit between the front wing and the fuselage, even after countless hours on the water. The greater the load applied to the front wing, the more securely the connection mechanically locks itself into the fuselage.
This design delivers a direct improvement in stiffness, precision, and silent operation. The foil remains perfectly secure, with no unwanted play, even under heavy loads during carving, pumping, acceleration, powerful turns, or hard landings. Rider input is transmitted more efficiently, steering becomes more precise, and the feeling underfoot remains consistent.
The connection requires only two screws beneath the front wing. Assembly is faster, simpler, and more user-friendly for everyday use. Wings can be swapped in just moments without multiplying screws or complicating the setup.
The locking angle has been carefully engineered to combine maximum engagement under load with effortless disassembly after the session. Even after an intense ride, the front wing can be removed from the fuselage easily.
This self-locking concept has already proven itself over several years across our V3 foil platform. It is a genuine mechanical advantage: simple, fast, rigid, reliable, and built to last.

HDCC Technology

These boards have the high-performance HDCC (High Density Core & Carbon) technology. The manufacturing process is akin to that of a foil wing. The board is manufactured from aerospace-grade prepreg carbon fiber and a high-density foam core with mechanical properties that ensure structural cohesion and hydrophobicity in case of damage.

In a nutshell, it’s strong, stiff, and very lightweight

Industry-standard prepreg carbon fibers are positioned on the high-density foam core. Carbon H-stringers and full prepreg boxes are also placed before compression in a steel mold heated to 155°C to polymerize the resin. Mold pressure combined with high temperature ensures perfect layer cohesion to guarantee exemplary performance and durability.

Subsequently, the board is extracted from the mold. Board logos are applied. A thin layer of matte varnish is then applied to protect the board. The pad is glued, and the board is ready to ride!

This technology involves no sanding, hence no production waste. There's no sanding of the shape as it's molded, no sanding of the laminations which are pressed and fused, and no sanding of the hot coats which are integrated directly into the molding process. It's extremely costly to implement but the result is impeccably clean.

All our prototyping phases are tested on our own test benches. HDCC boards easily pass resistance tests with loads exceeding several hundred kilograms on the front foot.

The lower price compared to this exceptional technology is due to the efficiency of construction. Less human labor (about a quarter) equals lower expenses. Simply, with this board, you're primarily investing in well-assembled premium materials.

What size?

When pumping, the size of the board is not based on your weight but rather on your skill level. The 95 cm board will be easier for a beginner rider, whereas an intermediate to expert rider will perform better with the 80 cm board.

Indeed, more length helps compensate for hesitation in foot positioning, and less length offers weight savings and therefore better performance. It’s all a matter of compromise and choice, as always.

For the front wing, we will aim for the largest surface possible to push off on the board without waves or wind. The surface can eventually be reduced as your skill increases to go faster.
